SSC CGL Result 2020 announced @ssc.nic.in; check live updates for tier-I result
SSC CGL result 2020 for tier-I exam along with cutoff has been announced on July 1. Candidates can check their result and cutoff at ssc.nic.in. Check live updates related to SSC CGL tier-I result here.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced SSC CGL tier-I result 2020 on its official website, ssc.nic.in today, July 1. The result has been released in the form of a PDF containing names and roll numbers of all the qualifying candidates.
Along with the result, the commission has also released SSC CGL cutoff 2020. SSC CGL final answer key will be released on July 7. The SSC CGL tier-I 2019-20 exam was conducted from March 3-9, 2020. The tentative SSC CGL tier-I answer key was released on March 15, 2020. The SSC CGL 2019-20 notification was released on October 22, 2019.

7: 50 PM β SSC CGL tier-II exam will be held from October 12-15. Also, SSC CGL tier-III paper will be held on November 1.
7: 45 PM β SSC CGL final answer key 2020 will be released by Staff Selection Commission on July 7. Along with the answer key, the commission will also release marks of qualified and non-qualified candidates.
7: 40 PM β Along with the result, SSC CGL cutoff 2020 for tier-I has also been released by the commission. Candidates can check SSC CGL tier-I cutoff on the Home page of the official website.
7: 30 PM β SSC CGL tier-I 2020 result has been declared by Staff Selection Commission. Candidates can check their SSC CGL result on the Result page of the official website - ssc.nic.in.
11:00 AM β Staff Selection Commission has delayed the SSC CGL tier-I result 2020. As per an official notification released earlier, SSC CGL result was scheduled to be out in June. However, any official update regarding the release of the result is currently awaited.

10:00 AM β Staff Selection Commission has revised the SSC CGL vacancies 2019-20. Earlier, the commission had announced 9,389 vacancies. However, now the commission has increased the total number of SSC CGL vacancies to 9,488.
June 29, 2020
7:00 PM β SSC CGL tier-I result will display qualifying candidatesβ names, roll numbers and categories.
6:00 PM β Along with the result, the cutoff and final answer key will also be made available.
5:00 PM β On the basis of SSC CGL tier-I result, candidates will be shortlisted for tier-II. To be selected, candidates need to secure the cutoff marks as per the category.
12:00 PM β Candidates can expect cutoffs this year too, in the same range as last year with a plus or minus five to 10 marks.
10:00 AM β Qualified candidates will be issued SSC CGL admit card 2020 for tier-II.
9:00 AM β Candidates will be able to check the result online at ssc.nic.in
8:00 AM β SSC CGL 2019-20 tier-I result is expected to be released today.

7:00 PM β Candidates will be able to check their SSC CGL tier-I marks by logging into their registered accounts.
6:00 PM β SSC CGL scorecard 2020 and marks will not be released along with the result. Candidates will be able to check their SSC CGL marks few days after the declaration of result.
5:00 PM β This year, about 15 lakh candidates appeared for SSC CGL tier-I exam, as per media reports.
4:00 PM β While the month of June 2020 is about to end, candidates are still waiting for SSC CGL tier-I result.
3:00 PM β Earlier, SSC CGL result for tier-I exam was expected to be declared in April. However, the result was postponed due to the emergent situation arising out of COVID-19 pandemic. Thereafter, Staff Selection Commission released an official notice stating that the result will be announced in June.
2:00 PM β SSC CGL result is declared after each stage of the exam is over. Candidates who clear SSC CGL tier-I 2020 exam will have to appear for tier-II paper, scheduled to be held from October 14-17.
1:00 PM β Candidates do not need to login to check their SSC CGL result. The result will be released in the form of a PDF available to be seen by anybody.
11:00 AM β SSC CGL tier-I 2020 result will not be declared region-wise. The Staff Selection Commission will declare three merit lists on its official website - ssc.nic.in.
10:00 AM β In SSC CGL 2018-19 exam, total 15,162 candidates had qualified the tier-I exam for paper-I, -II and -IV; 8,578 candidates had qualified the tier-I exam for paper-I, -II and -III; and 1,50,396 candidates had qualified the tier-I exam for paper-I and -II.
9:00 AM β Details that will be present in the SSC CGL result are exam name, merit list number and name, candidates' roll numbers, candidates' names and candidates' categories.
8:00 AM β In case, the category of the candidate given in the SSC CGL result/merit list is incorrect, she/he must immediately contact their respective regional office to inform them about the same.

6:00 PM β In 2018-19, SSC CGL cutoff for UR category was 170 (for AAO posts), 165.96 (JSO post) and 137.07 (for all other posts). This year for SSC CGL 2019-20 exam, the cutoff is expected to be even higher.
5:00 PM β Every year over 1.5 lakh candidates are selected to appear for tier-II paper. In SSC CGL tier-I 2018-19 exam, 1,74,136 candidates were declared qualified to give tier-II paper.
4:00 PM β As the tier-I exam was conducted in multiple shifts, the SSC CGL result will be declared by the commission after normalising the marks of candidates.
3:00 PM β Staff Selection Commission will release three SSC CGL merit lists as part of the result. The first will be for the post of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO). The second list will be for Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and third list will be for other posts.
2:00 PM β SSC CGL result will be declared category-wise by Staff Selection Commission. This means that the CGL tier-I result will be different for candidates belonging to categories such as unreserved (UR), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), Orthopedically Handicapped (OH), Hearing Handicapped (HH) and other Persons with Disability (PwD).
1:00 PM β Total 9,389 SSC CGL vacancies have been released to shortlist candidates for 50 Group-B and -C posts through CGL 2019-20 exam.
12:00 PM β SSC CGL result will be released to shortlist candidates for the next stage of exam, tier-II. Tier-II exam is scheduled to be held from October 14-17.
11:00 AM β The SSC CGL marks of the qualifying candidates will be released by Staff Selection Commission few days after the declaration of result.
10:00 AM β Along with the result, the commission is also expected to release the SSC CGL 2020 cutoff and final answer key.
