SSC CGL result 2020 for tier-I along with the cutoff is expected to be declared today. Candidates can check their SSC CGL tier-I result on the official website of the commission.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) can declare the SSC CGL tier-I result 2020 today. Once released, candidates will be able to check their SSC CGL result on the official website of the commission - ssc.nic.in. Along with the result, the commission will release SSC CGL 2020 cutoff and final answer key.
The SSC CGL 2020 result will be declared in the form of a merit list. The SSC CGL merit list for tier-I will contain the names and roll numbers of all the candidates qualifying the exam. All the qualifying candidates will then have to appear for SSC CGL tier-II 2020 exam scheduled to be conducted from October 14-17. Check complete SSC CGL exam dates 2020.

Candidates can check SSC CGL 2020 result by following the steps mentioned below:
- Visit the official website – ssc.nic.in
- Click on the SSC CGL result link available on the Home page
- Find your roll number in the SSC CGL result PDF
- Download and save the link
Note: For candidates whose roll numbers will not be present in the result PDF it will mean that they have not cleared the tier-I exam.
SSC CGL Cutoff 2020
SSC CGL 2020 cutoff will be the minimum marks that candidates will require to clear the tier-I paper. Some of the factors that are taken into consideration at the time of creation of SSC CGL cutoff list are:
- Number of candidates given for the exam
- Number of SSC CGL vacancies available
- Difficulty level of tier-I paper
- Previous year cutoffs
Final SSC CGL Answer Key 2020
The SSC CGL final answer key for tier-I exam will contain correct answers for all the questions asked in the exam. The SSC CGL result will be prepared on the basis of final answer key only. The tentative SSC CGL tier-I answer key was released on March 15. Candidates could raise objections against the tentative answer key till March 21.
It may be noted that earlier SSC CGL tier-I result 2020 was expected to be declared in April as the tier-II exam was scheduled to be held in June. However, the result was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
