In view of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, SSC has postponed the Paper-II exam of SSC CPO. The new exam date will be announced soon.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed the Paper-II exam of SSC CPO amid COVID-19 scare. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 8. The new exam date will be notified to candidates soon by the commission.

Initially, SSC CPO 2019-20 Paper-II exam was scheduled to be conducted on March 26. However, SSC had postponed the exam to May 8, 2021, due to the Assembly Elections 2021 in some states/UT. Again, the exam has been postponed due to rising COVID-19 cases.

The official notice released by SSC reads, “Due to the surge in COVID-19 cases across the country, the commission has decided to defer the Paper-II of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, CAPFs and ASI in CISF Examination-2019 scheduled on May 8, 2021.”

“The fresh date for the exam will be intimated in due course. Candidates are advised to visit the website of the commission regularly for the updates,” the notice further reads.

Paper-II exam will be conducted for candidates who had qualified the Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PET). This paper comprises objective type questions from English Language and Comprehension. There will be 200 questions in the paper. The duration of the test is two hours.
