WBCS 2021 Exam postponed till May 15 because of Assembly Elections

WBCS 2021 exam postponed because of the State Assembly elections in the state. The WBPSC postponed the WBCS 2021 exam till May 15. New exam dates will be released later.

The WBPSC issued a notice on March 1 stating that the WBCS 2021 exams were postponed because of the state assembly elections in the state. The WBCS 2021 prelims exam was proposed for March 21. The new West Bengal Civil Service (WBCS) 2021 exam dates will be released later by the West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC). The WBCS exam is the most prestigious exam of the WBPSC.

The WBCS 2021 main exam was scheduled to be conducted from April 24 to 28. But it would also stand postponed because of the same reason. It will serve as a golden opportunity for the candidates because they get additional time to prepare for the WBCS 2021 exam. The WBCS 2021 application begun on December 24, 2020. The WBCS application 2021 were closed for the candidates on January 16.

The WBCS 2021 notification was released on December 20, but in the official advertisement, the exam dates and vacancies were not mentioned. The tentative dates for the WBCS prelims exam were given in March/April in the official communication.

The WBCS 2021 exam will be conducted in three stages. The three stages of the WBCS exam are as follows.

• WBCS Prelims exams
• WBCS Main Exam
• WBCS Personality Test

The WBCS prelims exam is a multiple-choice exam conducted offline across the state. The WBCS main exam is an essay type-descriptive exam conducted offline. The WBCS prelims exam 2021 will follow the given pattern.
