West Bengal College Service Commission (WBCSC) is going to release WBSET result 2019 soon per media reports. Those who have appeared for the exam, can expect result after lockdown is lifted. The written exam was conducted on January 19 and WB SET answer key was released on Jan 24.

How to check WB SET result?

Candidates waiting for WB SET result can follow the given steps below to check result:

• Click on the WB SET Result link for 22^ndSET
• Download WB SET result PDF for the particular discipline
• Names of the shortlisted candidates will there on the list  

WBCSC will release the names of only the top 6% candidates who secure cut off marks in the written exam. General and other reserved category (OBC- belonging to Non-Creamy Layer/EWS, SC, ST and PWD) candidates need to score 40% and 35% respectively to qualify the exam.  

After the declaration of WB SET result, the commission will release E-certificate for the shortlisted candidates as per protocol. WB SET E-certificate can be downloaded from the link given on the official website of WBCSC.

WB SET is conducted to recruit assistant professors in colleges and universities under the Government of West Bengal. The exam is conducted at the state level once a year.
