UPSC Exam Calendar 2022 was released on August 13. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the Exam Calendar PDF online only. The calendar denotes all the dates of notification, application and exam. The exam calendar is very important for the candidates preparing for the exam because the exam dates help them to plan their preparation in a better way.
UPSC conduct Civil Service Exam, Engineering Service Exam, Combined Geo-Scientist Exam, NDA & NA Exam, CDS Exam, Indian Economic Service Exam, Indian Statistical Service Exam, Central Armed Police Forces (AC), Combined Medical Service (CMS) Exam, Indian Forest Service Exam and other departmental exams.
UPSC also released the list of reserved days for the departmental recruitment tests. The exam calendar also denotes the duration of the exam. The details of the UPSC 2022 exam calendar is given below.

It is interesting to note that UPSC combined the notification, application and exam dates of NDA and CDS exams. These exams were combined under the COVID-19 pandemic situation. Now, UPSC combined these exams and released the same dates for both the exams.
UPSC releases the exam calendar one year in advance to provide a clear timeline of notifications and exams. The other aspect of the UPSC 2022 exam calendar is that the State Public Service Commission (SPSC) also denotes the exam dates and prepare their own exam calendar accordingly. The specs need to spare the days of UPSC exams in their calendar. Most of the SPSC follows a fifteen days gap from the UPSC exams and prepare their calendar accordingly.
UPSC is the apex exam conducting body under the Constitution of India. UPSC conducts the exam for all the Civil Posts and the Central Civil Services Group A and Group B assigned to it. UPSC recommend the candidates to the Ministry of Personnel and other concerned ministries after the exam process.
