CMI entrance exam 2020 will now be held on October 4 at as many as 44 test centre locations owing to COVID-19 pandemic. Read here to know more.
The Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI) will now be conducting CMI entrance exam 2020 on October 4. The exam was earlier scheduled to be held on August 1, however, got cancelled due to COVID-19 risk. Now, the exam will be held on the rescheduled date and, nine centres have been added to the test centres list. The exam authority also notifies that candidates can now update their details including test centre preferences before August 9.
The official website stated, "The entrance exam will be held on Sunday, 4 October 2020. Both BSc and MSc/PhD exams will be held in a single session, from 09:30 to 12:30. Students who have completed the application process can log in to the application form and update their choice of exam centre, as well as other personal and academic details up to Sunday, 9 August 2020."
Moreover, new test centres have been added to the exam centre list due to COVID-19 risk. Listed below are the test centres newly added to the list of exam centres:
- Cochin, Kerala
- Durgapur, West Bengal
- Gurgaon, NCR
- Jaipur, Rajasthan
- Kharagpur, West Bengal
- Noida, NCR
- Raipur, Chhattisgarh
- Tiruchi, Tamil Nadu
- Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh
The admit card of CMI 2020 entrance exam will be released on September 19 and, it will mention the details of test centres as selected by the candidates.
