With more than 200 cases reported in the country, the reality of COVID-19 has finally hit the country. Application process is currently underway in most Science exams and here is a list of entrance exams which have faced the brunt of Coronavirus.
The impact of COVID-19 on India’s education sector is getting more pronounced by each passing day. Already, popular entrance exams like JEE Main and NID DAT have been postponed. Apart from these, board exams like Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), etc have also been delayed by the Government.

Due to this, most educational institutes are being shut till March 31, 2020.

AUCET
Official notification regarding Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET) has not been released yet. Each year, Andhra University releases the application form for AUCET in the third week of March. However, in 2020 the application forms for this science entrance exam have not been released yet. AUCET exam is usually conducted in the month of May, each year.

MCAER CET
Maharashtra Agriculture Universities Examination Board (MAUEB) released the schedule for MCAER PG CET in December. The exam was conducted from March 14 to March 16, 2020. Thus, Coronavirus has no impact on the Agriculture entrance exam, till now. The result for the exam is expected in the last week of March. Students are keeping fingers crossed that admissions do not get delayed through MCAER CET 2020.

UPCATET
A state-level exam, UP Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test (UPCATET) is scheduled to be conducted in the month of May. Currently, the application process for UPCATET 2020 is underway. The exam officials have not shared any notification regarding postponement of this science entrance exam. Thus, UPCATET 2020 can be expected to be conducted as per schedule shared by exam authorities earlier.

CUCET
A national level exam, Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is scheduled to be conducted from May 30 to May 31, 2020. At present, the application process for CUCET exam is underway and candidates can fill their registration forms till mid- April. Thus, there is no change in the exam schedule for CUCET 2020 due to Coronavirus, till now.

NEST
The admission notification for National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) was released by NISER Bhubaneswar on January 7, 2020. Currently, candidates are filling the application form for NEST 2020. The exam is scheduled to be conducted in June. The authorities have not shared any changes in the schedule of NEST 2020 due to COVID-19 outbreak.

IIT JAM
An all-India level entrance exam, IIT Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) was conducted by IIT Kanpur on February 19. The result of the exam was expected on March 20 but exam authorities released it four days earlier on March 16 itself. Currently, aspirants can download their scorecard for this science entrance exam. IIT JAM 2020 seems to be on track and no delays are expected in the admission process through this exam.

ICAR AIEEA
The official website of ICAR All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) was launched on March 1. At present, the application process for ICAR AIEEA is on. ICAR AIEEA 2020 is scheduled to be conducted in the month of June. This year, National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting ICAR AIEEA exam and they have not shared any notification regarding a delay or postponement of ICAR AIEEA 2020.

JEST
Conducted jointly by premier institutes like IISc, IISERs, NISER and TIFR, Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) has not witnessed any change in its schedule due to COVID-19 because the exam has already been conducted on February 16 and its result was declared on March 11.

OUAT Entrance Exam
Every year, Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) conducts OUAT entrance exam to shortlist aspirants for admission in courses offered in Agriculture and allied Sciences. The application process for OUAT Entrance Exam is about to close and the exam is scheduled to be conducted by end-April. As of now, the exam authorities have not postponed the release of admit cards as well as the exam date due to Coronavirus outbreak in India.

IISER Entrance Exam
Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) conduct IISER Entrance Exam in order to shortlist aspirants for admission in BS-MS dual degree programme offered by them. The application forms for IISER Entrance Exam were released on March 23 and are expected to close by end of April. IISER exam is scheduled to be conducted be May-end. Thus, no change in the exam schedule is expected for IISER exam.
