2. For BVSc and AH - The minimum and maximum age limit will be 17 and 25 years respectively as on or before December 31, 2023. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC categories have been given the age relaxation for up to five years.

NDA: National Defense Academy –NDA, this exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission twice a year for candidates who want to serve in the Armed Forces. The age limit for this exam is 16.5 min to 19.5 years max. Students who appear in the 12th standard or who have passed their 12th exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their core subjects are eligible for this exam.

·   Age limit: For NDA-1 it is 16 to 19 years. For NDA-2 it is 17 to 20 years. (Applies to both male and female). All candidates should be unmarried

·   Course Eligibility: Candidates must clear their class 12 from a recognized board with PCM as their core subject.

TES: Students who have passed their 12th exam with PCM stream with a minimum of 60 per cent marks can appear for this exam conducted by the Indian Army twice a year to fill the Technical Officer Positions in the Indian Army. Candidates must have appeared for JEE (Mains); this exam's age limit is 16.5 to 19.5 years. The candidate should be unmarried and he/she should be of Indian Nationality.

·   Age limit: 17 years. 

·   Course Eligibility: Candidates must pass their class 12 from a recognized board with a minimum of 50 per cent (aggregate) and 45 per cent for the SC/ST category. Students in class 12th or awaiting the result are also eligible, but they must submit their passing certificate. Students who pass their class 12 from a foreign board need to get an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). 

Course available: Candidates after getting selected will be inducted as Cadets for the four years of Mechanical Engineering, B.Tech course in Applied Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering based on the requirement.

AFCAT: The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is conducted twice a year and the conducting body of AFCAT is the Indian Air Force (IAF). This exam is conducted to hire Class-I Gazetted Officers for Ground duties (for technical and non-technical) and for Flying Duties. Students with a dream of flying high can appear for the exam if they clear the eligibility criteria.  Also, it is not an easy exam but with good preparation candidates can achieve their goal to serve in the Indian Air Force.

·   Age limit: 20 to 24 (for flying branch) and 20 to 26 for ground duty.

·   Course Eligibility: Candidates must be citizens of India. 

Candidates under 25 years of age should be unmarried. 

Candidates for the Flying branch must clear their class 12 from a recognized board with 50 per cent marks in Physics and Mathematics. 

Also, they must have a graduation degree of a minimum of three years with 60 per cent marks. Or Candidates must have a B.Tech degree. 

The candidate must clear both sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India or Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers (India) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60 per cent marks or equivalent. 

The eligibility criteria for the ground staff are also the same as above for the Technical Branch. For the non-technical branch, the eligibility criteria are the same as above.

SSC CHSL: Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam which is conducted by SSC. Through these exams, one can get positions in both technical and non-technical and clerical jobs in various positions and ministries with central government officers.

·   Course Eligibility: Candidates must pass their class 12 from a recognized board. Students who are in class 12 are also eligible for this exam. Candidates must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee, or a person of Indian origin.

SSC MTS: SSC MTS stands for Staff Selection Commission Multi-Tasking Staff (SSC MTS), this is one of the many government competitive exams to get government jobs in India. This exam is conducted once a year and it is conducted by SSC. Candidates who want to apply for this exam should have passed their 10th from a recognized board. Through this exam, candidates can apply for an MTS employee role in different government departments to handle basic administrative work, office maintenance, and peon duties. The exam pattern consists of two papers, Paper-I and Paper-II, Paper-I includes Reasoning, General English, Numerical Aptitude, General Intelligence, and General Awareness, and Paper-II is a descriptive type in which candidates need to write a short letter or essay.

·   Course Eligibility: The candidate must be a person of Indian origin or must be a citizen of India. Candidates must be Tibetan refugees. Candidate must be a subject of Bhutan or Nepal. An Indian-origin person who has migrated from the Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Uganda, East African countries of Kenya, Burma, the United and Zanzibar), Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia, Malawi, and Vietnam to settle in India permanently. All candidates must carry a no-objection certificate from the Government of India prior to their appointment.

SSC GD: Staff Selection Commission, General Duty is conducted by the SSC to hire candidates for different organizations and paramilitary forces. The exam sections are divided into four parts, Reasoning, Mathematics, General Knowledge, and Hindi/English. There are a total of four stages of the selection process: CBE, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).  Once you clear all four stages, candidates can serve in organizations like the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Border Security Force (BSF), and more. 

·   Age limit: 18 to 23 years.

·   Course Eligibility: Candidates must pass their class 10 from a recognized board.

RRB Group D: This is conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) to hire candidates for different posts like Assistant Pointsman, Assistant/Helper, and Track Maintainer Grade-IV, within Indian Railways in both non-technical and technical departments. The RRB Group D exam mode is an online, Computer-Based Test (CBT) that includes General Awareness, General Science, General Intelligence, Reasoning, and Mathematics. The selection process also includes the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Examination, and Document Verification.

·   Age limit: 18 to 33 years.

·   Course Eligibility: Candidates must be citizens of India, Nepal, or Bhutan. Also, Tibetan refugees who came to India, before January 1, 1962, to settle permanently in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India. Candidates who want to take the RRB Group D exam should pass their class 10 from a recognized board and must carry the National Apprentice Certificate (NAC) from the National Council for Vocational Training. Students who are 12 pass and also cleared ITI are also eligible for this exam.
