G.B Pant University releases first cut-off and counselling schedule for UG courses

The Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar has released the first cut-off lists for Undergraduate (UG) courses which are offered at the varsity and qualified students have to complete the online counselling session before the last date. Students are required to verify their documents, select the seat and pay the fees online to secure admission to the course offered. The cut-off lists have been released for BVSc & AH, BSc (Hons) Agriculture, BFSc, BSc (Hons) Community Science and BTech Food Technology.

The fees differ from course to course and the candidate needs to complete the counselling process before the last date as on failing to do so, the seat will be offered to the next candidate in the list.

The varsity has also released the schedule and cut-off for UG 2020 first-round counselling for the wards of Jammu and Kashmir residents (WRK) and wards of Kashmiri migrants (WKM).

Instructions for First Round Counselling (UG)

The varsity has laid down certain rules which need to be followed while completing the counselling session.

  • Choices once filled cannot be changed at any stage or any round of counselling.
  • Seats will be allotted in order of preference of choices filled by the candidates subject to the availability.
  • Seat allotted to the candidate will not be changed in any circumstances.
  • Each candidate willing to participate in the first round of counselling will pay a counselling fee of Rs. 500.
  • If a candidate fails to pay the required fee within the stipulated time after allotment of seat, then seat allotted to him/her will be automatically cancelled and will go to next round of counselling.
