KVPY Exam 2021 was scheduled for November 7, however, now, it stands postponed.
The KVPY exam 2021 has been postponed until further notice. This comes after the Madras High Court ordered the postponement of the aptitude test over regional language concerns. The Department of Science & Technology, Government of India has issued an official notification regarding the same on its official website. A new date for the exam will be announced soon.
The official notice on KVPY Exam 2021 postponement reads, “The Honourable High Court of Madras, Madurai bench stayed the KVPY Aptitude Test scheduled on November 07, 2021. We regret to inform you that the KVPY Aptitude Test will not be held on November 07, 2021. Further updates will be available on the website."
The KVPY Admit Card 2021 was released on October 8 by the exam conducting authority.
Madras HC had appealed to the Centre to postpone KVPY Exam 2021 Date and take appropriate measures to implement other languages in the examination. The petitioner stated that conducting the aptitude test only in English and Hindi would be unfair for the candidates studying in regional mediums.
