Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur has once again shared a new schedule for the admission process of IIT Joint Admission Test for MSc courses on April 19. Now, the online application process for IIT JAM 2020 admissions will begin from April 20 onwards. The new schedule for IIT JAM 2020 admission process is as under:

The exam authority has mentioned that the new schedule remains tentative as the situation of the country affected by COVID-19 pandemic is unforeseen. The admission schedule of IIT JAM 2020 can be modified if any announcement for further lockdown or rules for the situation is announced by the Government of India. 

Important: The official notification further stated that "Due to COVID19 related lockdown, many applicants are facing problem in getting documents relevant to the JAM 2020 admission. To facilitate timely admission process, JOAPS portal will ask such candidates to fill an undertaking that they will submit any missing documents before a later deadline. Any admission offer to such candidates, if made, will be strictly provisional."

Candidates have to fill the undertaking form provided on the official and, submit a scanned copy of the document through the JOAPS portal. All the admissions will be on a provisional basis only.
