The Punjab Agricultural University has released the first counselling schedule for students who appeared for the Agricultural Admission Test (AAT). Students have to appear at the Pal Auditorium, PAU, Ludhiana, on November 6, 2020, (9:30 AM) in-person to verify their documents and submit the security fees to for admission to BSc (Hons) Agriculture (2+4) year programme. Candidates of Armed Forces (AF) and Sportsperson (SP) shall also attend the counselling on the above mentioned, venue, date and time.
Students have to follow the social distancing protocols and the candidate has to come with their guardian. The candidate should have on their masks at all times and should also carry their own hand sanitizer, water bottle and pen to the counselling venue.
The following documents need to be brought to the counselling session which is as follows:
- Duly filled application form
- Residence certificate belonging to Punjab/UT, Chandigarh
- Reserve category certificate, if any
- Annexure C for sports person
- Date of birth certificate/Matriculation certificate
- Detail marks certificate of Class 10
- Character certificate
A total of 118 students were provisionally selected for admission to BSc (Hons) Agriculture six-year programme and students who have made the merit list, will have to appear for the counselling round to complete the admission process and secure a seat in the programme applied for.
Candidates are advised that if they fail to make the counselling session on the given date and time, their seat will be offered to the next candidate. Under no circumstances will admission be provided if the counselling session is missed. Also, students will not be granted admission on failing to meet the eligibility criteria.
