Tezpur University has decided to cancel the Tezpur University Entrance Exam (TUEE). Check out the details released by the varsity and what's next.
The Tezpur University has released a statement regarding the Tezpur University Entrance Exam (TUEE) and has decided not to conduct TUEE for all programmes and courses this year and will judge students on the basis of the qualifying examinations. Students will be admitted to the courses on the basis of merit lists which will be released. The Tezpur University cited that due to the impact of the global pandemic known as COVID-19 (Coronavirus) which resulted in a nation-wide lockdown, the possibility of having large crowds is too much of a risk.
The application window has concluded except for BTech programmes. The last date to apply for BTech programme is till July 15, 2020. Students who have applied online, are required to upload and submit the required mark sheets/grade cards of the qualifying examination along with the grade to per cent of marks conversion formula.
Students will have to use the same login ID as used to apply online to upload the mark sheets and certificates. The provision for online submission of mark sheets on the application portal will be intimidated to the students via SMS and email. The last date for uploading and submitting the documents is till July 31, 2020.
Here is the statement released by Tezpur University.
Earlier, the varsity had been extending the last date to apply for all programmes and courses over the course of April and May, due to the extension of the lockdown in the nation and battling the global pandemic.
