Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria for the above-mentioned courses are as follows:
MSc in Food and Nutrition: The student needs to have done their BSc in Home Science with a specialisation in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics or PG Diploma in Dietetics or its equivalent from a recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 55% to be eligible.
PhD in Food and Nutrition: The candidate needs to have done their MSc in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics or its equivalent from a recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 55% to be eligible.
Certificate: The student needs to have done their Class 12 from a recognised board in the Science stream and should have secured a minimum of 45%.
Admission Process: Students seeking admission will first have to apply online on the official website of IGNOU. For admission to the Certificate programme or MSc Programme, students will be judged on the basis of merit list. There will be no admission test. However, for admission to PhD courses, students will have to appear for an entrance exam. Students who clear the written test, are required to appear for an interview. Candidates who clear the two rounds are offered admission to the programme.
Parul University

Eligibility Criteria: The candidate can follow the below-mentioned eligibility criteria for the two courses which are as follows:
BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics: The candidate needs to have done their Class 12 from a recognised board in Science stream and should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate to be eligible.
MSc in Nutrition and Dietetics: The candidate needs to have done their BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics or Home Science or its equivalent from a recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate to be eligible.
Admission Process: The students are required to apply online on the official website of Parul University. For admission, students are required to appear for an entrance exam for all courses and programmes. Candidates who clear the written entrance exam, will have to appear for an interview round. A merit list will be released after the two rounds have been conducted and candidates who make the list, are required to appear for the counselling session to complete the admission formalities.
