UPCATET 2020: First PhD counselling schedule released, to commence from December 10

The Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Combined Entrance Test (UPCATET) board have released the counselling schedule for admission to PhD courses offered at the universities accepting UPCATET scores. The first round of the counselling for PhD courses commenced from December 10 onwards and will continue till December 23, 2020. Students who have been shortlisted and have made the merit list, are advised to follow the schedule and should complete the UPCATET counselling round according to the mentioned dates. Students are required to pay the online counselling registration fee first before advancing in the counselling round.

Candidates are required to upload their documents, fill their choice and lock their choice in which college they want to secure admission in. The results will be released online on December 23, 2020, and students are required to submit the online counselling security fees to confirm their seat in the college selected.

How to Complete the UPCATET Counselling Sessions

Students are required to follow steps on how to complete the counselling round which are as follows:

Step 1: The candidate will first have to visit the official website of UPCATET. Click on ‘Counselling New Registration’ which will be mentioned on the top row on the homepage.

Step 2: The candidate will have to pay the counselling fee to proceed to lock their seat. The payment has to be made online via net banking/credit card/debit card.

Step 3: Once the counselling fee has been paid, the candidate has to proceed to fill their choice and lock their choice.

Step 4: Once the seat has been locked, submit the security fees deposit to confirm admission to the PhD course applied for.

Step 5: Download the allotment letter once the security fees has been paid online.
