Unfortunately, I couldnot locate a definitive refund policies on their website during my search. Possible Scenarios (Reference Only): Before Admission Confirmation: If you withdraw your application before receiving an admission confirmation's from RTU, there's a chance you might receive a partial or full refund of the application fee, depending on the university's policy. A:
  1. Contact RTU Admissions Office: The most direct approach is to contact the RTU admissions department. You can find their contact information on the university website, usually under the "Admissions" or "Contact Us" section. 2. Search for Application Forms: Sometimes, universities mention the application fee details within the application form itself. Try searching the RTU website for the B.Tech application form. If you find it, there might be a section mentioning the application fee.

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Placements in our college are quite good but not that much. The placement ratio is good, and in the last year above 90% of students got placement. The salary offered is not that high for all students. Only 4-5 students get placement with a salary package of above 30 LPA, and the other students are placed with a salary package of 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 50 LPA. Companies like TCS and other good companies visit the college for placements.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, but the college is too old, so classes are like that, especially in the CS block. Other facilities like smart board and basic things are available here. The library is great in SKIT. Labs are also good with all requirements. SKIT has the best tennis court in Jaipur, and it focuses on sports too. The hostels are good, and the mess is good.
Faculty: In SKIT, if students are just coming for studies then it is the best college. Teachers are very supportive and their quality of teaching is brilliant. The course curriculum is relevant as it is connected to RTU Kota, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult but we get centers where students have to go and give exams.
Other: Events are less organised in this college but when they happen they are good. A scholarship is also provided.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028

It is a good place for study and growth with less enjoyment.
Placements: I am currently pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering at SKIT Jaipur, and it has been a great experience. About 75.27% of students in the CSE department secured placements in 2023-2024. The highest salary package offered is 47.32 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.85 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Hexaware Technologies, Pinnacle Infotech Solutions, and MetaCube visit the college for placements. Top roles like software developer, data analyst, web developer, etc., are offered to students.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of this college are good. The campus size is good. The campus provides Wi-Fi access, with a 3 GB limit per day for hostel students and 1 GB for day scholars. The library is also good and quiet. Students from the hostel and day scholars can stay and study up to 7 PM and 5 PM on Sunday in the library. I am a day scholar, so I do not know about the hostel food, but I heard that the food is good in the canteen and mess.
Faculty: There are many teachers in SKIT. Most of the teachers are very good in nature except some. Faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Many professors are PhD holders and M.Tech qualified. They have great knowledge and help the students to develop their thinking skills. SKIT is autonomous now, so I do not know about the hardness of the paper. In previous papers, the level of toughness is good, but not so high. The pass percentage is 75%.
Other: I choose B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering because I love software. I also love coding, programming, and developing skills. I wish the college improve the coding management, and there are few labs and more written work. Events and fests organised are also okay not so high so we don't distract from our path.

I am not so satisfied with the rules and regulations making it like a school.
Placements: The placement percent in my college is approximately 60%, with the highest package being 7.5 LPA and the average being 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Polycab, etc. After every even semester, internships are offered by Railways or BHEL. Roles offered include being a part of the core group of the company.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite decent. There is a library with an AC facility, but the library staff is very strict. There is no AC in classrooms, only in some labs. The lab equipment is old, not the latest. The hostel is actually quite good. There are AC rooms, attached washrooms, canteens, and proper medical facilities. There are sports facilities in our college, but not a proper cricket ground.
Faculty: The teachers of our college are highly qualified but are also stereotypical. They have vast knowledge, but the behavior of some teachers towards students is not good. The teaching quality is good most of the time. The curriculum is too lengthy, especially for our branch, which lacks proper practical knowledge. The semester exams are not too tough, but the checking is awkward. The pass percentage is around 50.
Other: B.Tech is obviously a big technical degree. The best thing about this course is that it gives you practical knowledge. The need for more practical knowledge than theory requires improvement. Our college, most of the time, focuses only on studies and course completion. There is only a single fest held in our college in a year.

My review for the place where students write their success story.
Placements: In my college, 10% of placements are there every year. The highest package was 14 LPA and the average placement is 2 to 4 lakh. The top recruitment was from TCS. Generally, students from my college do out-of-campus internships because of the low availability of internships in the college.
Infrastructure: College hostel infrastructure is very basic, not an outstanding factor. The rooms are basic and the washrooms are okay, but the cleaning service is poor. The mess food is disgusting, and the quality of the products used is very low class and unhealthy for the students.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is very good. They are very supportive, have good qualifications, and have good knowledge of their respective subjects. The curriculum is well-managed and okay for a student. Exams for my course are regular and on time, and faculty always try to motivate every student.
Other: Everything is okay in the college, but the events and other activities are not there.

Absolutely dissatisfied with my college, as it is very bad in terms of placements.
Placements: In my course, this year only 25 to 30% of graduates were placed because many were out of eligibility criteria for placements. The highest was recorded at 8 LPA, and the lowest was recorded at 2.5 LPA, with the average package being around 4 LPA. Some recruitment companies were TCS and Wipro. As for internships, it is really bad in our college because there is no internship. You are not allowed to do an internship in the 3rd year, and there is no agreement for NOC.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is basically average because it has decent space in classrooms and a decent library with enough books. The Wi-Fi is very slow, and the hostels are really bad. They are in the worst condition because there is very little space in the hostels, and the quality of food in the mess is the worst. I have never had food this bad in my life. It is very unhygienic, and I have seen many cockroaches sometimes.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are qualified and helpful, and many of them have knowledge. In fact, one of our Physics teachers is a Ph.D. holder, but the quality of teaching is not very good because they teach us with the old method. The course curriculum is not at all relevant because it follows the RTU course, which is outdated and old, making the students not ready for the industries. The semester exams are really not hard, but not easy. The pass percentage is about 90%.
Other: I chose this course because I wasn't getting admission in any government college from the JEE exam, but I think to improve my course, they should focus on practical learning rather than more on theory. However, if you talk about events and fests, there are really good events in our college, such as Arya Ratan, which is really good. The extracurricular activities are also good because there are many sports facilities on our campus.

Honest review of Gurukul Institute of Engineering and Technology .
Placements: I am in my fourth year at the CSE branch and there has been no placement or I have not heard of any company that has come for placement till now. They have mentioned many companies in their brochure but none of them is there for placement until now in 2024. Please don't take admission here if you want on-campus placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the biggest flaw of this college after placements. There is a lab for CSE students but the system doesn't work. The computers there are only for online examinations or showpieces. Classroom walls are dirty but okay. You can study there. There are hostel facilities available but I don't know about food. There is a small canteen or it would be better if you called it a shop. There is a cricket field, volleyball and a basketball court. They also organize sports events every year.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and experienced but some faculty members are below average; their teaching quality is poor and you can't understand a single topic taught by them. They help you if you are stuck and repeat the topic if you want. The course curriculum is the same as at every college affiliated with RTU. It is also affiliated with RTU. I would say the course curriculum doesn't make students industry ready but this is the same for almost every college. Passing semester exams is either easy or moderately difficult. Semester exams are taken by RTU itself, and the center is any other college.
Other: I would like to add that this college is best for those students who want a decent college to complete a B.Tech. As there is no pressure for attendance, it is also good for those students who want to prepare for GATE or any other government competition exams while pursuing B.Tech. There are fests like freshers parties, sports tournaments, and other Indian festive celebrations, but keep in mind that you have to pay for each event.
