Ahmedabad University offers merit scholarships of up to INR 2,00,000 upon admission to applicants with CAT 2024 scores of more than 90 percentile. Additional scholarships of up to INR 2,00,000 will be awarded upon admission to applicants who demonstrate high accomplishments with their test scores in other valid entrance tests, in their undergraduate degrees in Engineering, Technology, and Architecture, and with full-time work experience in reputable organisations.

Mentioned below are details about the type of scholarships offered at Ahmedabad University
1. Ahmedabad Fellowships: Under this, students are provided with a 100 percent waiver of the tuition fees and this is renewed annually for four/ five years for the Bachelors / Integrated Masters course duration.
- Awarded to: top five students whose home cities are outside of Gujarat are offered the Ahmedabad Fellowship with Student Housing.
- When is this offered? This Fellowship is awarded at the time of admission to the UG and Integrated PG courses through a holistic assessment of candidates. It is renewed based on the academic performance of the students at the university.
- Eligibility:
- BTech students above a specified AIR in JEE (Main) are eligible for this
- Students admitted through ACPC set up by the Government of Gujarat are eligible for a full waiver of the tuition fees for four years provided they are among the first 500 ranks in the list prepared by the ACPC
- It is renewed based on the academic performance of students at the University
2. Ahmedabad Scholarships: Under this, a one-time 100 percent tuition fee waiver (along with a waiver on hostel fees) is awarded in the second semester as an Ahmedabad Scholarship, during admission to the UG and Integrated PG courses.
- Eligibility: Holistic assessment of candidates and is subject to students achieving a certain academic grade within the structure of the current schooling system.
- What happens in case of eligibility for more than one scholarship? In case a student qualifies for both the Ahmedabad Scholarship and the Need-Based Scholarship, the Ahmedabad Scholarship is awarded first and the Need-Based Scholarship includes the balance (if any).
3. Merit Scholarships: This scholarship is awarded from the second year onward to the highest-scoring students of each course based on their academic performance.
- How many merit scholarships are offered? The number of Merit Scholarships for each course is proportionate to the number of students enrolled in the same.
4. Mahatma Gandhi Scholarships: This scholarship is offered to a maximum of ten students in a year across all programmes and majors offered at Ahmedabad University.
- What is the fee waiver offered under this? Under this, students get a full waiver on tuition fees, fees for study materials and textbooks, and the security deposit. Additionally, fee waivers for any independent study period courses, waivers on hostel fees, reimbursement for the purchase of a laptop, and a stipend to cover living expenses during internships are also offered.
- Who can avail of this scholarship? This is awarded to the brightest students across the country with a 90% aggregate in Class 10 and Class 12.
- How can I avail this scholarship? Students nominated by their school are required to fill up the UG application form of Ahmedabad University along with the application for this scholarships.
5. Need-Based Scholarships: The Need-Based Scholarship offered at AU include either a partial or full waiver on the tuition fee. The amount of this scholarship is determined by the student’s family's annual income.
- Students whose annual family income is less than INR 10 lakh are eligible for the Need-Based Scholarships.
- Students whose annual family income is less than INR 5 lakh are eligible for a 100% tuition fee waiver.
The final decision on this scholarship is taken after the assessment of the family income, expenditure pattern, and assets and after a personal visit to the family residence/ business by an independent audit agency.
NOTE: Students must note that in case they qualify for both an Academic and a Need-Based Scholarship, the Academic Scholarship will be awarded first, and the Need-Based Scholarship will be awarded on the balance (if any).
6. College Board India Scholars Programme for New Students: A 100 percent fee waiver on tuition fees is provided to the top scorers in the SAT from India for the duration of their UG degree. Interested students are required to complete their application formalities with the college board to be considered for the scholarship.

Placements: Ahmedabad University offers multiple placement opportunities to its MBA students. The college has a highly active placement cell that has tie-ups with various companies. Top recruiting companies include Accenture, IBM, Deloitte, and TCS. The average salary package offered is between 6 and 8 LPA.
Placements: Ahmedabad University is one of the best Private University in the Gujarat. College provides best placements opportunities to its students. Almost 50-60% of the students gets placements in the MBA course. College has a strong placements cell which has tried up with various companies for on campus placements.
Placements: In my batch (Computer Science 2021), only 40% of students were placed. Out of those placed students, 60% were placed in companies offering 5 LPA and long-term bonds. The highest package was offered by Future First at 13 LPA, and the average package is 5-6 LPA. Placements: At the Ahmedabad University, around 45% of the students get placements in the MBA course. The average package offered in the course was between 4 and 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies in the college are Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, etc. Top roles offered were CRM, HR, Marketing Head, etc.
Placements: Around 80%–90% of the students were placed in the placement. The highest package offered was around 25 LPA, and the average package was around 5–6 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Toddler, Cognizant, Microsoft, Deloitte and so on. The top roles offered were software-developer and web-developer.
Placements: To be honest, at Ahmedabad University and after the completion of my B.Com., there were not any placement facilities available. So, you need to look for off-campus jobs and internships. So, don't come here in hope of any placements; your aim should be to just study and develop your skills.
