Allahabad University MA Highlights 2023

At the postgraduate level, Allahabad University offers a two-year MA programme to students in over 20 specialisations to the students. Admission to MA is subject to a valid score in the AU PGAT exam. The offline and online entrance exams for PG courses will take place at Prayagraj, Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Bareilly and New Delhi. I am satisfied with this college and I would recommend joining this college.

Placements: More than 70% of students got placed in various government and private sectors. The salary package offered ranges between 1.6 LPA - 30 LPA. Most companies were from political areas like election management, media, and political firms like CSDS, AIPF Private Limited, etc. Roles offered were election management, data collection, analysis, administration, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department was newly upgraded. The whole campus was Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms had smart boards and protectors. Our college had good central and partial departmental library support. We used to eat food in the mess on a monthly payment basis. The infrastructure of the hostel was old.

Faculty: All faculty members of our department were highly eligible and qualified. We were getting a quality education. Our course had international relations. It was a demanding subject. In the globalisation era, this subject was very relevant in all areas. The exam process was very regular. We had two mid-tests, assignments, and final semester exams every semester.

Other: I opted for this course because it is useful for me to prepare for civil services, and it is an optional paper. Many events and festivals are celebrated on campus by students and college administration. Merit and government scholarships are provided to students. All game tournaments are held in our college and hostels.

Nice place for higher education.

Placements: In normal graduation courses, the jobs offers are limited. Although professional courses get good placement opportunities. Not much of students of my courses get placed as it is a normal graduation course. Research facilities are good for my course and higher education is quite good.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very well maintained. The facilities are good for maintaining huge crowd that studies here. Hostel facility is good compared to other institutions. Rooms are also available outside the college faculty. You've various options to choose from hostel services.

Faculty: Faculty is very experienced. The interaction between professors and students is fruitful in providing a scholaristic environment. Curriculum is planed in a manner so as to provide with competitive exams and further research in particular subjects. Exams are held semesterwise to make students involved with the curriculum and give them continuous learning process.

The college provides good education as the professors are well educated but .

Placements: In the college placemat the ratio of placed students is very poor its about 5 percent. The highest pachkage is 6 lakh per annum and lowest is obiously non placed students get zero . The rato of non placed students is very high. So it's not saugestable to students to take admission here. Only the students who have great interest in the subject and who want to join civil services should apply for this course.

Infrastructure: The insfrastrure of the college is very good the labs classroom are clean normaly. The quality of food in the hostel is very good its hygenic. Medical facilities are also satisfying. There is science faculty that have a memorable infrastuture . There is also interesting art paintened on the walls.

Faculty: The teachers are normaly having good behavior but yet some teacher's are rude . The expect students to have very much discipline they are normaly good in giving numbers if the copy is written properly. Some professors also help students to tackle personal problem.

Other: I choose the course because I have interest in this course. There is good chance of cracking upsc exams through this course. But the bad thing about this course is that there are so many students in this couse so the competotion is very high.

This college is good for placements and personality development.

Placements: Students become JRF and NET. It helps to become a teacher in degree colleges. Our friend becomes an assistant professor at Delhi University. Many students were selected in various fields as administration IAS and other states civil services examination.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was very good and helpful for students. The library was very good. All facilities were provided like good books, magazines, newspapers, etc. Wi-Fi was also available which supports reading online and offline method.

Faculty: Teachers were very knowledgeable and hold many degrees like Ph.D. Sometimes researchers were knowledgeable, intellectual, and very helpful to students. Teachers' levels were national and Allahabad University is called Oxford of East.

Placements: You have to prepare for NET/JRF or do some diploma courses for placements. But because of the government, there are no jobs nor any vacancies and they are hiding their mistakes using the name of corona. Exams of NET/JRF are being postponed regularly. We don't know what we are doing. The government of central and the states are misleading the students.

Infrastructure: Hostels and departments are good but the administration is the worst. But if you are a bibliophile then you'll feel like you are in heaven. There is a big central library and if you are a university student you don't have to pay anything for it. You can also use universities Wi-Fi by enrolling yourself. The administration will give you a username and a password and you can use it for long term. So you can say so there are lots of things in university. It has a good campus, good environment, and if you are a nature lover you'll love it.

Faculty: Professors are good but aged. The administration is so lazy that they didn't fill the vacancy of professors. But the experienced professors are so good. If you are a social person then sometimes you will feel racism about castism. Exams are so easy for arts students and others too if you are a normal guy in studies you'll definitely get around more than 55% and if you are a good student then you'll definitely get more than 70%.

Other: If you are a middle-class person then you must join Allahabad University because it's on budget and studies are also good.

Review of CMP College affiliated with University Of Allahabad.

Placements: Only specific courses students get placed in, like B.Tech. and computer science,. The highest package in this college is around 5 lacs per annum, the lowest is 2.5 lacs, and the average is 3 lacs per annum. There are no internship programs here.

Infrastructure: infrastructure is very good. All the departments will be renovated in 2023. The college does not offer hostel facilities yet but soon construction of a new hostel will begin but that will be just for girls. The canteen facility is not good. No proper canteen is available. There is a gym inside the college. And sports activities are very active in this college.

Faculty: The faculty is very knowledgeable and experienced. Their teaching style is very practiced. This course does not make any student industry-ready, as it does not involve those kinds of necessary details. The semester exam are not difficult at all; the professors clear each and every doubt and this make the exams effortless.

Other: I love geography and the faculty here is very good. That's why I chose this course and college. Few faculty members need to change their teaching style as they are not updated with modern teaching techniques. There are scholarship programs available in the college. Events, fests, and other co-curricular activities are also organized.
