Q:   Is B.Sc. at Amity University Jaipur worth the investment?

    A:
    {Source: B.Sc. students & alumni}

After analyzing the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

    Pros:

    * Good Infrastructure: The university has modern classrooms, well-maintained laboratories, and good amenities such as Wi-Fi, libraries, and hostels.
    * Practical Exposure: Students receive hands-on training and practical exposure through internships, projects, and events.
    * Knowledgeable Faculty: Most teachers are well-educated, experienced, and helpful, making it easier for students to learn and clarify doubts.
    * Scholarship Opportunities: Scholarships are available for top-performing students.
    * Green Campus: The campus is surrounded by greenery, creating a peaceful atmosphere conducive to learning.

    Cons:

    * Limited Placements: While some students reported receiving offers, others mentioned limited placements and lower salary packages (around INR3-4 LPA).
    * Few Job Offers: Some students didn't secure jobs after graduating, citing the lack of industry connections and fewer job opportunities.
    * Faculty Shortage: Although teachers are generally knowledgeable, some departments may have limited faculty members, leading to overload and impacting teaching quality.
    * Mess Food Quality: Many students complained about the poor quality of food served in the mess.
    * Wi-Fi Issues: Some students reported frequent Wi-Fi connectivity issues.

    Conclusion:
While Amity University Jaipur has its strengths, such as excellent infrastructure and practical exposure, it seems to struggle with placing students in good job opportunities and maintaining consistent teaching quality due to faculty shortages. Additionally, some areas, like mess food quality and Wi-Fi connectivity, need improvement. Ultimately, whether B.Sc. at Amity University Jaipur is worth the investment depends on individual priorities and circumstances. Students should weigh these factors carefully before making their decision.

    This college is really good.
Placements: Nice placements have in this college and the average package is 4 to 5 lac per annum. Most of the students got the internship, and this was my starting year so I not properly know about the college but many people and seniors told me the true things.
Infrastructure: Fully Wi-Fi campus and very nice infrastructure, and the best campus I ever visited. There are so many sources of food and mess, and there are very well-maintained MI rooms, called medical investigation rooms, which are so helpful and beneficial for students.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, much qualified, and knowledgeable with the best teaching quality. Course curriculum is relevant. Exams are not much difficult, but okay, and there are mid-exams also in between the final exam, so this is helpful for preparing students.
Other: I choose this course because of the good environment. Event fest, campus crowd, and connectivity are all very best in this college.

    Amity: A student-friendly life
Placements: The overall placement rate is good. Some courses have high packages, and some courses have low, but every course has good rates. The CRC of the college helps the students by getting big companies and industries for the placement drives, and even teachers are assisting in getting students placed.
Infrastructure: The campus is very vibrant and situated on 154 acres of green land. The green, lively, nature-near environment helps students relieve stress. The hostels, labs, and infrastructure of the university are well-maintained, with different outlets of food within the campus.
Faculty: Faculties are experienced and helpful. The course helps individuals grow their knowledge about the particulars. The exams and curriculum are very well designed so that students can develop. The classes and syllabus are well-customized according to the needs of the course.
Other: The fests held are amazing. Students will have the opportunity to participate in numerous cultural and academic events, which help in their overall growth.

The faculty is good, and exposure to the lab is good. Placements are okay.
Placements: There's not a large majority of placements, so approximately 50% are there among the students. In bachelor's, not many companies approach for hiring, but the ones that do hire do not have a high package, approximately INR 3–4 lpa. Yes, there is a good amount of internship opportunity for the students, both on-campus and off-campus, in various companies, as the mentor and teachers are really helpful in providing you with the internship information and process. I got an internship on campus for 1 month under my mentor, and it was worth it. Top roles are mainly assistant project managers, as it is a bachelor's degree course that is good enough for a project.
Infrastructure: Facilities are really good; we have a good exposure to wet labs; Wi-Fi is top notch; classrooms have amazing infrastructure and AC; all the equipment is available, including a fermentor and walk-in incubator; literally everything a Science student can ask for; teachers are also really helpful; but there is only one drawback: the faculty members and teachers are really few. The hostel is pretty decent with bathrooms; a maid is always there to clean your rooms and bathrooms; the quality of food in the mess is also quite good; a wide variety of options are there (you have to pay for your food on your own as the charges are not included in the hostel fee); there are good extracurricular activities in sports; PTI is eager to help you; and NCC is also really good.
Faculty: Teachers are well educated and experienced and really helpful beyond my expectations; teaching quality is good; the things taught are up to the mark; and teachers are really helpful with everything, your doubts and all. Exams are good if you study because the exposure we get and the teaching really help us in exams; the pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I love this field and the microscopic organs, and it has a really good scope in the future as well. The best thing is practical exposure, and the knowledge that we get is commendable. The only thing I would like to improve is the faculty, as there is very little of it. Events are ongoing, like every month we have an event, and that gives us exposure to participate. The campus crowd is decent, with people from all parts of the country; the campus surroundings are filled with greenery; scholarships are available for the top students in your class; and many clubs are there, including sports drama, art, theater, dance, and fashion.

    Review of Amity University, Jaipur.
Placements: A few students got placed in our course. Our college provides few placement opportunities. Students got internships from courses like BBA and BCA. They recruit professional course students. Around 15% of students got placed in our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Classrooms are well-equipped with new technology. Practical labs are well-maintained. They have all the necessary tools that we require during our practicals. Wi-Fi facility is provided by the development authority.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They help every student. They provide notes so that we can easily understand all the topics. The course curriculum is relevant for future goals and industries. Semester exams are not conducted in our college. We have only annual exams.
Other: I opted for this course because it would help me further to achieve future goals.

The college is average because the placements are not so good.
Placements: Last year, no one got placed. The packages offered previously were around 3-4 LPA. Bicon Limited, Serum Institute of India, Panacea Biotech, etc., come here. Almost every student gets an internship, but it's not paid. Lab technician, microbiologist, biostatistician, epidemiologist, biochemist, and clinical research associate roles are offered.
Infrastructure: Amity is good for biotechnology. It provides all the equipment required for learning. Teachers are good and well-experienced. They try to clear every concept of theory and practical. The library is good, and almost all the required books are available. Wi-Fi is available. The hostel is good, and proper discipline is maintained. The mess is not good, and it is very costly. Almost every sports facility is available.
Faculty: Teachers in Amity are good and have good knowledge and experience. They are from IITs and NITs. The teaching quality is good. They clear all the concepts. The curriculum of Amity is relevant to IITs and NITs, and it makes students face problems in real life. Semester exams are not so difficult. If students study only the previous years' papers, they got good marks.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in research and development. I want to become a scientist. But if I had another chance to opt, I would choose B.Tech biotechnology because the value of B.Tech is higher compared to B.Sc.

You will make college, college will not make you.
Placements: In our batch, there are 38 students. The top recruiting company is google. The top role offered in our course is graphics designer or video production. The highest package is 8 to 10 LPA, the average is just 4 LPA, and the lowest is 0.30 LPA. In our course, there are lots of interns in many companies, eg: Google.
Infrastructure: If we are talking about infrastructure is good but labs, computers, PC are not working properly. The library is very good, the classrooms are nice but sometimes it occurs an air-conditioner problem. The main problem is with wi-fi which is not working well. If you are talking about mess infrastructure is good but the food is not good, canteen is good but it goes expensive. Sports and games were nice in this university, the medical facility is also nice in Amity.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and talented. They are really good teachers until we are not taking any action toward the teacher. My personal experience said that I made one action to tell HOD about a 3d teacher that he does not teach well now he is targeting me in everything. The semester exam pattern is good and students were passed.
Other: I chose this course because in the upcoming time this course growth very well. This is a very good college related to every fest and other things.
