All the teachers are very sweet and kind.
Placements: The college has collaborated with different companies for placement opportunities. Some companies like NAT Geo, Discover, and others have come for recruitment and we got some amazing salary packages like 1.5–3 lacs per annum considering this is our first job.
Infrastructure: The hostel room is pretty spacious. Each room has its own bathroom. The hostel has its own Wi-Fi. Food is given in the morning and at night. The students have to buy from outside or on campus during lunchtime, as lunch isn't provided. Amity provides only vegetarian meals. Nonveg inside the hostel is prohibited. The security is too tight. Thus, there's no safety issue. Students aren't allowed to go outside without their parents and management's permission. I see this rule both as a pro and a con. You can find plenty of PGs near or around Amity. The rent is usually around INR 6,000–INR 10,000 a month. Autos and buses are there. So students won't have a transportation issue. Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year.
Faculty: There are updated syllabi, like what's currently going on in the corporate sector and what things help us. Yes, we got the opportunity to sit at campus placements like Zee, Sahara, Abp, etc. Our HOD, Dr. Pavitra Srivastava, is very polite and helpful by nature. Other teachers are also ready to solve the problems of students at any time. Class size:-78 The course costs INR 15,7000 per year.

Overall satisfied with the university.
Placements: Placements are not promised here as M.A. in English is not a professional course. However, the efficient placement cell always provides the students with exposure. Almost 5 out of 11 appeared and got placement in various companies with an average salary of Rs. 20,000 per month. The college provide internships for students in corporate companies, newspaper houses and publishing industry.
Infrastructure: The college is centrally air-conditioned. Classrooms are spacious and airy with whiteboard and projectors. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There is a library which is not very resourceful. The medical facility is available here. Sports complex is also spacious and well-equipped. Hostel is good. Canteen served vegetarian dishes, and it is hygienic.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified. We have eight fulltime faculty members. Almost 2 of them are doctorate holders, one is post-doctorate, one is USA doctorate, and another one is at the verge of completing his European degree. The course curriculum is useful and demands concentration, dedication and rigorous engagement.
Other: Amiphoria is the annual fest organised here which is impressive. The university is very strict about attendance.

A review of Amity University, Kolkata.
Placements: Placements in the college are usually reserved for MBA and M.Tech students. For others, they provide placement assistance. In other words, it is better not to expect much placement opportunities in the college. The reason for low placements might be that unlike students of other streams, many opt out of placement assistance as many of them want to pursue higher studies or have other plans.
Infrastructure: There are very few books for the M.A English course at the college. Law and other departments have a better collection, but they have themselves expressed that they are not thoroughly content. Wi-Fi facility doesn't work most of the times. Cellular reception is not stellar due to the location of the campus. Medical facilities in the college are sub par. There is no place you can get medicine inside the campus, and some of the very basic items that can be expected from the medical facility are missing here.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members in the college are good and qualified. They have good knowledge about their subjects, but there are also some teachers who completely rely on spark notes and cliff notes. They might give you notes from Google with a webpage popping up with the exact wording. Every topic is covered in the syllabus. The syllabus is vast, but enough time is not allotted to teach any topic. You are supposed to read everything on your own. Attendance is mandatory as in all proper schools and colleges. So maybe, one should think before joining this college.
Other: Events are organised in the college regularly. There are plenty of opportunities to dress up. I believe it is part of their USP. The college hasn't been formed since long, so the fests are not as great as some of the other that you may have come across. However, they are doing their best to improve their standards of fests. A lot of extracurricular activities will be conducted once the construction of the second building is over. Construction work is going on at both inside and outside the campus which has resulted in extremely high pollution.

Great infrastructure, cool faculties and helpful seniors as well as juniors.
Placements: Students of Amity Institute of English Studies and Research have been placed in companies such as GD research, TATA consultancy and other content writing firms as well situated in all over India. You can always expect yourself to find a new world in here.
Infrastructure: It has always been a bliss to use the classrooms as it feels comfortable and homelike. The library is advance. The only thing that never connects is the Wi Fi. The food is awesome and worthy of money. You can always hang out in the garden or canteen after classes.
Faculty: The teachers have always been helpful and are knowledgeable enough to guide you. The course however is a bit lengthy so it might drain your pathway of learning. The semesters are easy if you have been attentive enough in the classes. Your exams arw going to be objective so be prepared for the same
Other: The fests are amazing. If you have recieved 80% above in your exams in HS or Grads.. Bingoooo you are getting a scholarship. Amity is well known for its extracurricular activities so enjoy.

It is an amazing college to study with wonderful teachers, well-designed course and modern campus.
Placements: Around 10% of the students were placed in our course. The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month. Indigo and Amazon were the top-recruiting companies. No internships were offered in our course. Indigo offered the role of ground staff, and Amazon offered the role of catalog manager.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities like projectors, speakers and personal charging points. It is centrally air-conditioned. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Gallery classrooms are available. We have the second largest library in Kolkata, and we also have a dedicated lab for Phonetics and foreign languages.
Faculty: The teachers are just superb. They are available to help us all the time. They make sure we have no doubts, and their teaching is technology-oriented and innovative. They make the classes interesting with PPTs, interactions, thoughts exchange, discussions and role-plays. The course is well designed to make us knowledgeable and industry-ready at the same time. With courses focused on communication development and personality development alongside learning a foreign language, must help students in their professional life in India as well as abroad.
Other: I like literature, so I have chosen this course. I think our course needs well-trained faculty members for a particular subject. Amiphoria is the annual 3-day long fest in which over 100 colleges participate in over 100 events. Sanghatan is the annual 14-day long sports event hosted by Amity University, Noida, where athletes from all the branches of Amity participate in the grand finale after qualifying the Sanghatan event of their own university and earning the right to represent them. The connectivity and surroundings are excellent. It is a perfect place to study, away from the hustle-bustle of mainland, Kolkata.
