Amity University Kolkata as my vision.

Faculty: In our department, M.Sc. Biotechnology, we give two exams—mid-semester and end-semester—and we also give PowerPoint presentations (PPT), home assignments, and so on. In Amity, we maintain 75% attendance, as Amity is strict about it. If we don't, we can't sit for the exams. We have to study properly to pass the exam.

Amity University Kolkata Review.

Faculty: Teachers were okay. They were easily approachable and most of them had a degree with them. They were very helpful when it came to clearing doubts and issues. Classroom teaching was also up to par and followed a strict standard procedure for every semester.

It's good, but don't waste your time on unwanted things. Develop yourself and grow more.

Faculty: Faculty members are friendly. The curriculum is nice but you need to cope for BBA. We have 6 semesters with home assignments and presentations to make us more vocals. Exams depend on your preparation but overall they are quite easy. The teaching is good.

Life at Amity University, Kolkata.

Faculty: Faculty are good knowledgeable. They are helpful. Exams are not that difficult. Passing percent depend on subjects. Ex-Paper 1 is of 100 marks. Out of 100, 70 is for the external writing exam and 30 marks for the internal, 10-mark test, assignment, and presentation. So in both internal and external, if I have to pass, I have to score 33% in internal and external, like if I pass the internal exam but fail the external exam, then I am failed. And most important thing is attendance. 75% attend...

Overall kind of good experience and not what everyone think about Amity at least in my course.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good and approachable except 1 or 2. They try a lot but most of us weren't from Maths and Computer Science, so we had problems in understanding which were not clear even after completing 1st sem because of interaction problems. Semester exams are easy to moderate till now, but if studied sincerely it would be easy enough, but they are very strict with rules and regulations regarding unfair means.

An environment worth giving a shot.

Faculty: The professors are highly qualified. They indeed put their heart and soul into explaining every single thing so steadily. Overall, they are cooperative. Some are scary also, so you might not want to approach them. Scoring marks could be a huge task, but it is worth it to learn academic and life lessons.

A very renowned and good college, best in infrastructure and facilities.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified, always free to help, and have adequate knowledge. The teaching quality is also very good, and interactions outside of studies are also undertaken. Semester exam difficulty is moderate and depends on students' efforts in their studies. The passing mark is 35 and above.

Average college, it should be your last choice to get admission here as there is no placement.

Faculty: The faculties are helpful and also qualified. This curriculum is relevant, but if someone is really interested in science and research work, then only one should opt for this course as there is no job in bsc level for biotech students as this field requires more and more information.

Good faculty, average placements, vast and best infrastructure.

Faculty: All the faculty members hold doctorates in their respective subjects. They use different materials such as projectors, PPTs, and PDFs. The course curriculum is relevant, and we have already learned two languages. The faculty teaches on a broad basis, preparing us for interviews. We have internal examinations as well as external ones, and we have separate practical examinations. Viva sessions are also held from class to class.
