It is school of engineering, so if you are entering thinking that it's college then you are doing a mistake, because focus is only on studies and rules. The class room is equipped with Wi-Fi. But since it is a common connection, speed will be shared. Lecture halls are very good. Library contains awesome collection of books. But you might come to notice that most of the books you require are in the reference section. Placements: Our course is ECE which is pure electronics based. Average students got placed in the ECE department but compared to CSE, it is that much. The top recruiting companies visit our college for recruitment. Many students got internships in our course.

Placements: Around 95% of students who qualified for placements were placed, but only 20% were placed in core mechanical engineering, with the remaining placed in IT sectors. The highest salary package offered for mechanical engineering freshers was 6.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies include amazon, oracle, cisco, Microsoft, ge, bosch, ibm, etc. Internship offers are very few and is only given mainly to CSE students. From my course very few companies offered internships. Mass company like cognizant has offered internship for ECE students. Associate engineer is one of the roles offered. Most of the roles are associate engineer or trainee developer.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good, especially for the CSE department. Amrita College always strives to get good placements, and it has achieved it so far. I have completed my graduation in the year 2019, and I have seen our seniors getting placed in most of the reputed companies, mostly in and around Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai.
