BTech Admissions Open At Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham
January 7, 2022: Amrita University, ranked A++ by NAAC and the 5th Best Overall University in India in the 2021 National Institution Ranking Framework (NIRF), has announced that engineering admissions are now available. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham invites all students to #ClaimYourFuture by applying to engineering programmes at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and passing the Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE) or one of the other four eligibility exams, which include the Remote Proctored Examination (CBT or RPE), JEE Mains 2021, SAT, or Pearson UG Entrance Examination Score (PUEE). The institution is using the JEE Mains structure for the AEEE – Engineering 2022 Centre Based Test.
Applicant must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board for the AEEE test, with a minimum of 55 percent in each of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics separately, and a minimum of 60 percent in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics together. Candidates must have been born on or after July 1, 2001 to be eligible for admission.
AEEE 2021 will be held online in two rounds in February and May 2022 for admissions to BTech programmes at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's four campuses in Amritapuri (Kerala), Bengaluru, Chennai, and Coimbatore. Eligible students can take any component of the online/offline test to qualify for admission. The same examination is carried out offline. The mode of examination is selectable by the candidate. A student would be given a maximum of three attempts, with the highest score used to determine their ranking.
Amrita School of Engineering has set aside 50 per cent of its total seats for scholarships, and it has a track record of 88 per cent successful placements from multinational and reputable MNCs in 2021, with the maximum compensation being INR 56.95 lakh per annum. With an average CTC of INR 6 lakh per year, the leading firms are Microsoft, Intel, Amazon, and others.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Opens Admission For Engineering PhD Programmes
December 27, 2021: Admissions for full-time Engineering PhD programmes at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham are open till December 31, 2021. The programmes are offered at the varsity's campuses in Amritapuri (Kollam, Kerala), Bengaluru, Coimbatore, and Chennai, with scholarships available. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is an NAAC-accredited Institute of Eminence with a 'A++' rating.
Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computational Engineering & Networking (CEN), Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber security, Earth Sciences, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering (Multidisciplinary), Mechanical Engineering, Sustainable Development, and Wireless Networks & Applications are some of the thrust areas for research under the PhD programmes.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Hosts Coding Contest ‘Algoqueen’ For Girl Students Across The Country
November 22, 2021: Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetham has taken the initiative by launching AlgoQueen, a one-of-a-kind competitive programming competition for girls across the country. The AlgoQueen coding competition aims to promote a competitive programming and coding culture among female students. Amrita will hold a series of contests sponsored by Amazon Web Services, IBM Q, and JetBrains as part of this innovative and progressive programme. Students will take an online exam consisting of four sets of questions based on C, C++, Java, and Python throughout the first two quarters, followed by an onsite session depending on the pandemic scenario. The questionnaires will be produced entirely by female engineering students at Amrita and will be open to all female students in teams of no more than two individuals from schools across India. Students will be able to participate in a series of online workshops to help them gain confidence before the competition. Participants will have the opportunity to obtain mentorship from some of the top brains in the field as part of this process. The tournament will take place on a third-party website called Competitive Drills Contests, and students can start preparing for it right away by going to codedrills.io.
The deadline to register is December 2021, and the competition will take place in January 2022, with attractive rewards for the best teams. ICPC is organising AlGO QUEEN, which will be held by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in conjunction with Mindler. Amazon Web Services (AWS), IBM Q, and JetBrains are among the sponsors.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham “Free Jee Crash Course” & “Free Jee Practice Test”
November 22, 2021: For the next 30 days, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is giving a FREE JEE Crash Course. All engineering students in +2 and +1 classes are eligible to register for the JEE Preliminary Test, which will be held on November 27th and 28th, 2021. There will be no negative marks for this one-hour test. Students can choose from a variety of time slots, making it easier for them to attend when it is most convenient for them. The exam's syllabus will be based on physics, chemistry, and mathematics. The top 1000 students will receive a complimentary 30-day JEE Crash course from professionals. In addition, the winners will receive wonderful presents and certificates.
On Sundays at 4pm, students can take a FREE JEE mock exam hosted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. This will allow students to practise on a set platform in a live exam environment, allowing them to perform at their highest level for the main exams. Students receive ECertificates, and the winners receive substantial prizes.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s InCTF Cyber Security Contests Invite Registration From Professionals, College And School Students Of All Streams
September 17, 2021: From September to December 2021, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University will host two major events: 1) InCTF 2021, one of India's largest flagship ‘Capture-the-Flag' cybersecurity contests catering to both working professionals and undergraduate and graduate students, and 2) InCTFjr 2021, for K-12 school students. Individuals or teams are welcome to participate. The signup is completely free and can be done on the university’s official website.
The contests' goal is to raise awareness on a broad level while also teaching kids about cybersecurity on a micro level. Many people have gotten better and more demanding jobs in this industry as a result of the outcomes of our events. It is not necessary for participants to have prior knowledge of cybersecurity. The competitions follow the principle of 'learn, hack, and win.' Following registration, candidates will participate in learning rounds in which they will gain cybersecurity information and abilities that they will apply in later simulated contests. They can compete in state-level online qualifications by expanding their knowledge and improving their skills. Top-scoring students from each state are offered free admission to an international cybersecurity conference where they can meet with professionals from across the world.
In this eleventh season of InCTF and sixth edition of InCTFjr, prizes worth over Rs 3 lakh are expected to be distributed. Amrita Center for Cybersecurity Systems and Networks, Traboda Cyber Labs, cybersecurity edutech platform, and Team bi0s, the world's #14 and India's #1 Ethical Hacking Team, are co-organising the competitions. Over 15,000 undergraduate and graduate students, as well as over 8500 K-12 students from 150 top higher education institutions and 400 schools across India, have been trained and mentored through our events. InCTF and InCTFjr registration will remain open till November. The self-paced study period will last until the end of October. A round of training with tech professionals will be held for them through November. The elimination rounds at the state level will take place in November, followed by the finals and the international conference in December.
