Placements: About 80-95% of students are placed from our college. Our students are getting salary packages of 3 LPA - 8 LPA. Our seniors are placed in companies like IFFCO, National Fertilizer Limited, etc. Some students are placed in the government sector and some have created their own start-ups. During graduation from B.Sc. (Hons) in agriculture, we learn crop production, protection, and extension.
Placements: Our batch consists of 100 students in the second year (2020) batch. There are students from VCI, NER, NRI, and many other quotas. It is a government autonomous institution. We are provided with NAHEP training in the 4th year for foreign exposure. Moreover internships are done in 5th year.
Placements: Generally, companies do not visit our college for placements, and students get placed in state government jobs. Students who are unable to get a job they continue their masters in the college, and along with it, many students are engaged with many fisheries project. But I wish some good aquaculture companies visit our college and hire some students.
Placements: Community science is a subject which consists of the scientific study of activities which take place in a community. Nutrition companies like Nestle, Amul and textiles companies like Levis, Fabric Plus and others recruit students. Almost 100% of the students got an internship in their degree course. Top roles offered to the students are dietitian, textile designer, ergonomics, extension personal, etc.
Placements: AAU provides good job opportunities. Almost 80% of students got placements in both government and private sectors. They are offered average salary packages and different posts. They are offered roles of subject matter specialist in KVKs. Various private companies and NGOs offer placements. There is a placement cell in our college.
Placements: No campus placement. Still there many applications form private companies. Training and placement cell is present but not properly functional. Private companies like fertilizer companies mostly send various applications for posts which is a good option indeed.
Placements: Placements are quite impressive. Many of my seniors got placed in various agricultural fields like agricultural development officers, subject matter specialist and agri field officer in Krishi Vigyan Kendras. Maximum of them got good salary packages of the graduate level. Undergraduate students have an internship programme in various tea gardens and KVKs.
Placements: The placements are sufficient. Students are placed in KVKs, Banks, State Agriculture department etc. Many of the students are also employed in the private companies like Monsanto, Bayer's Crop Science etc. Students are also placed as Assistant processors provided they clear the ICAR-NET exam.
Placements: Presently, I am doing M.Sc. (Agri) in Tea Husbandry and Technology. Placement is quite good. Many Tea Gardens come for placement. Last year, 4 students got placement in Tea Estate undertaken by TATA. 1 student got selected fir Russell India Ltd. (Tea Estate). They were appointed as assistant manager in the Tea Estates. Salary offered was 25000-30000 per month. Some other companies that come for campus placement are Bayers, Indofil and some SEED fertilizer companies too. In our university, there...
Placements: The college had done very good placements and also student will get the 100% job by the campus interview. The students will get a job with better income or can say better starting salary. The students will get a job into different fertiliser company at higher post also at ICAR agriculture officer.
Placements: This college is one of the leading colleges in North East and the placement rate is above 90%. Along with government sectors the students can also get selected in private companies as a nutritionist in food production companies. There is also a scope of entrepreneurship in this course and you can also open your own farm and you can also be a scientist and can produce medicine.
Placements: Our batch had 32 students and everyone scored well in the entrance exam held by the college. This course allows the students to excel in the nutrition sector. The various job aspects are- nutritionist, dietician, health officer, food scientist etc. Various companies like Amul & other companies are engaged.
Placements: I am the senior, We are 80 students in batch. Several companies visit our college, they offer INR 40000 to INR 60000 per month, a role like an accountant, manger etc. are offered to students. Above 80 CGP is required to get an internship.
Placements: Our college provides 100% placements. Students get placed in fertilizer companies, chemical companies, NGOs, government jobs, etc. Students are not much satisfied as there are no campus placements. Students have to seek a job off-campus, which is the most negative point. Anyhow, all students get placed.
Placements: Well-equipped Placement Cell is there which allows different Companies for Interviews. APSC examination allows admission for Government jobs. Also entrepreneurship plays an important role, different motivators motivates students to start up their own business. Though a lot of government jobs are vacant, well placements are not given here which obstructs merit based job application. About 40% were placed after B.Sc. degree and near about 60 % got appointed after Masters.
