To apply for IIITM Gwalior, aspirants must first visit the official website of the individual entrance test for the courses to which they wish to apply. For example, aspirants must apply on the official JEE Main website to get admitted to BTech. Candidates must pass the GATE test in order to be admitted to the M.Tech programme. Eligibility for the GATE exam requires a minimum of 60% in graduation. 

In order to get into IIITM Gwalior, candidate must follow the admission procedure. The admission process includes mutiple steps such as application Process, Selection Process, Shortlisting Process, and Final selection. Find below the admission process below: 

Step 1: IIITM Application process

Candidates must register themselves on the official website of IIITM Gwalior. They must first register and then fill out the online application form.

Step 2: IIITM Shortlisting

Applicants will be shortlisted as per the eligibility criteria and scores obtained in the entrance exams. JEE Main, GATE, and CAT are the exams accepted by IITM for BTech, MTech, and MBA respectively.

Step 3: IIITM Selection Process

The shortlisted candidates will then be invited to participate in the selection phase, which typically consists of face-to-face and group interviews. The selection process is usually conducted in offline mode.

Step 4: IIITM Final Selection

IIITM releases a provisional list with finalises candidate's name. Candidates must pay the admission fee and confirm their seats. They must visit the admission fee for documnets verification and fee payment before or on the provided date.

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice. 

IIITM Gwalior BTech cutoff 2024 is based on JEE Main scores followed by JoSAA Counselling upto Round 6. Once the JoSAA Counselling is over, CSAB Counselling begins for the remaining seats at IIITM Gwalior for two special rounds. The expected IIITM Gwalior BTech cutoff 2024 for JoSAA Round 1 Seat Allotment result for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering is 6995, for B.Tech. in Mathematics and Scientific Computing is 9691, for B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is 15923. For Integrated courses, including Integrated B.Tech. in Information Technology + MBA, the expected JEE Main cutoff 2024 for JoSAA R1 is 13403 and for Integrated B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Information Technology, it is 11463.
