Good college but sometimes regret choosing this college because of a few circumstances.

Placements: The placements in our college are good. Well, that is when we consider a specific domain like web or app development. The in-campus placements mainly are for the above two-mentioned domains and most of the students here also pursue the same. As for other domains, there are very few offers and it would be better to try off-campus.

Infrastructure: The buildings are a bit old. Well, there are a total of 5 hostels for boys and one hostel for girls. Among the five hostels there are two for the first years of B.Tech and the remaining three are for the second, fourth, and fifth years and M.Tech and Ph.D. students.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and the curriculum is good. Well, that is public opinion and for us students, we don't even understand why we have a few specific courses which won't be of use to us at all. They make us learn engineering drawing in the first semester and that's it we don't use it anywhere. Most courses are either taught in c, cpp or Java.

Other: The crowd and campus life. Well if you get your gang together quickly you could have a fun college life. There would be interaction with seniors and the seniors are also very helpful.

Better when compared to other tier 2 NITs and really good infrastructure but not the placements.

Placements: When it comes to the matter of placement at IIITM Gwalior, most students get placed off-campus, with only about 60 percent getting placement within the college. The highest and lowest packages are 55L and 22L, respectively. The top recruiters include Google, Microsoft, Apple, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure at IIITM Gwalior is really awesome. You will enjoy the environment here, full of greenery, etc. The library system here is very good, making every book available. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned, and labs have been equipped very well (for Computer Science alone) since 2023. Sports are really encouraged here, and the sports complex is not equipped very well, but the director has assured that it will be fully equipped by the academic year 2024-25, as the inter-IIIT sports meet is going to be held in this academic year (2024-25). Hostel food is not too tasty, but when it comes to quality, it is better.

Faculty: Only some of the teachers are skillful and dedicated to their professions, but others are just useless. However, in engineering, you need to learn stuff yourself through online resources and books. Everything is available online now; you don't need to depend on the teachers. The courses here are very relevant to your life, but in the 1st year, you will have to learn some useless subjects that don't help you in your career but help you in life. Almost 90 percent of students pass the semester exams, but the 10% who are negligent fail. Exams aren't so tough for a guy who cracks JEE.

Other: The best thing about the course, which is different from other colleges, is that you don't need to learn the useless subjects after the 1st year. Yes, but the disadvantage is that very few events are conducted. But a IIIT's motive is to make a student study, so the events are very few. Scholarship facilities are available, and details about the scholarship are informed to every student to apply before the deadline. The strength of the whole campus is less than 1500, hence there is a great opportunity to interact with every senior who will help you in all ways. Teachers are also available all the time to clarify your doubts.

Faculty: Exam is very hard but it depends on study how much you learn and explain it they they watched how exam going on on they two semesters exam first is half year and last on last and btech is four years course and then completed so need to spend time on it

IIITM street: A dream college.

Placements: Our college has 100% placements. The highest package in 2022 was 65 LPA. The average package was 22 LPA, and the lowest was 13 LPA for B. Tech CSE branch. Our top recruiters include Goldman Sachs, Nutanix, Google, Generate AI, etc. Several of our students managed to bag internships at big-box companies like Amazon, Walmart, Google, Uber, etc.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is great throughout the campus. Ethernet is available too in hostels. Hostel facilities are good. Washrooms are cleaned regularly, and a geyser is available. The girls' hostel has only single rooms, which is convenient, and the food is pretty good too. The canteen and non-veg canteen both are great. Basketball court, tennis court, billiards, squash room, badminton court, swimming pool, all facilities are available. On-campus medical facilities are available; you can visit the doc in case of any health issues.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are quite qualified as it is a must in our college for professors to hold a Ph.D. doctorate. The course curriculum is highly relevant, and subjects that might come in company interviews are all taught as well. It absolutely makes the students corporate-ready with its curriculum, which is updated constantly to include current changes in the industry. Semester exams' difficulty varies according to how one prepares. Pass percentage depends on how everyone in class overall scores as we have a relatively grading policy.

Other: I chose B. Tech CSE here because of its infrastructure and amazing average package. Our college has central India's largest fest called Aurora. We also organize technical events like ARIC and several IEEE events. We have wonderful clubs like Uthaan, E-Cell, AASF, Beathoppers, Manchatantra, and Rotaract club. Given its aesthetic large campus and infrastructure, I would recommend anyone who has IIITM on their mind to join our college without second thoughts because our college is one of the very few IIITs which offer average packages equivalent to IITs and NITs.
