A very well furnished infrastructure with good faculty and well study environment.
Placements: Out of the 50 students in our course, 3-4 were placed by the university in various organizations. The top recruiting companies were Kheyti and Dhanuka. The roles offered to these students were Farm Analyst and Agronomist.
Infrastructure: The campus has free wifi, but the hostels do not. The hostels are well established and furnished with a bed, mattress, study table, and aalmirah. The light and water facilities are good. The classrooms are well furnished with smart boards and air conditioning. The library is good with an adequate number of books of all types and a good study area. The mess and canteen facilities are average.
Faculty: The professors are very helpful and supportive. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable, and they really care about their students. They are available 24/7 to help students with any problems they may have. The college has one midterm and one final exam per semester. The midterm exams are set by the subject teachers, and the final exams are from the university.
Other: I chose this course because I was most interested in agriculture and plant pathology. I really enjoyed studying the course. The college also organized celebrations for every festival, including Holi, Diwali, Sarhul, Ramnavmi, and Eid. In addition, there were many other festivals and events, such as the annual cultural festival and annual sports events, which included chess, badminton, cricket, and other games.

Our college is the best because it gives more output with less resources .
Placements: 50% of the students are placed from my college. The highest package of my college is 5 Lacs. Kheti, TCS, is a fertilizer and pesticide company recruiting. Many students qualify government exams like NABARD, IBPS, AFO, and Krishi Vigyan Kendra. 99% of students go for higher education by qualifying ICAR PG in all over India.
Infrastructure: For each course, a separate lab is available. Good Wi-Fi system in academic building. Sufficient classrooms are available; each book of available courses is present in the library; separate study rooms are available for students with Wi-Fi facilities. Mess food is not good, but canteen food is good. There is a medical facility in the hostel; if emergencies occur, they will provide an ambulance van. A sports complex is present, and sports equipment is also available. Each year, TMPL is held in our college. Also, cultural programs are organised on different occasions.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, and all teachers are Ph.D.-qualified and very knowledgeable. Course curriculum is relevant. Yes, it makes students industry-ready. In B.Sc. agriculture, subjects are vast; the course duration is 4 years with 8 semesters; each semester has 10 or 9 subjects with different credit hours. After semester initiation, 45 days after the midterm examination, and after 1 month, practical exams start, and after that, end-term exams are held. After that, a semester break will occur. Out of 100 marks, 50 marks are necessary for a pass. A midterm examination is held of 30 marks; 15 marks are required for a pass and 20 marks for a practical examination. Total internal marks contain 50. In which 25 marks are required for pass. And in an external exam, out of 50, 25 marks are required for a pass.

BAU glance and its functioning.
Placements: Placements are not up to the mark. Not many companies visit for campus placements. Only a few students will get placed with a very low package. The new placement cell is active but still major agricultural companies do not visit for campus drive. But an internship is compulsory for last year's students which is provided by the college itself in various companies which is unpaid or paid.
Infrastructure: This college has a decent infrastructure, college is equipped with Wi-Fi and has a well-maintained library which is open till 10 pm for boys and 8 pm for girls. Hostel infrastructure is bad, there is a scarcity of single rooms in boy's hostels and the same in girls' hostels. But the hostel fee is very less so it is adjustable.
Faculty: The faculty is impressive most of them, as they are scientist, the curriculum is very vast, as in each semester we have to study 9-10 subjects which are quite lengthy for a semester, exams are not so hard if we study regularly. But practical is the area which needs to be strengthened.
Other: The fee which I describe here is for 4 years including the hostel fee but excluding the mess fee which is about 3000 per month mess fee.

Horticulture College, BAU - new opportunity in Jharkhand.
Placements: Only three batches have passed out till now from Horticulture College, so it will take some more time to properly setup its placement cell. At the current stage, mainly NGOs like Pradaan offer jobs. This year, IDBI Bank also came for placement with a package of 55,000 per month. At the graduation stage, they don't offer you much package. The average package will be between 2,50,000 and 4,00,000. The placement ratio is also very low. For internships, students mostly go to FPCs.
Infrastructure: As the college is newly built, the infrastructure is very new and good. The hostel is totally new. Classes are well furnished. Lab equipment is all available. All new instruments are installed. The library is also newly built, with all new books available for the Horticulture course. A mess facility is also available in the hostel.
Faculty: All our teachers are well qualified and are assistant professors and junior scientists. Their teaching quality is also very good. From an exam perspective, they all teach very well. Midterm, practical and final semester exams are held in a semester. If you study well, you will pass exams easily. Mostly, 90 percent of students pass the exam.
Other: If you are not going for the medical stream after opting for biology in 12th grade, then agriculture or horticulture can be a good option to go for. If you do an MBA in agribusiness after a B.Sc., then more growth opportunities are available.

Overall Good to prepare for future competitive exams.
Placements: About 20% of students were placed in our courses. Top recruiting company was Cognisphere Solution Limited which recruited 3 students from batch 2019-20. Roles offered in our college are the heads of different Societies like media cell, sports society and etc.
Infrastructure: Whole college has Wi-Fi with fast secure internet. There labs as well but don't have enough equipment which are necessary. Library is well maintained and have enough books for a whole batch for courses as well as competitive exam. Hostel is free of cost but mess is having charge.
Faculty: Most of the professors are Ph.D. holder and are qualified. The course is designed as all the basic engineering courses are covered and then in later semester core branches are main. It makes students ready for different food companies and agriculture related exams.

Ranchi Agriculture College has good campus environment.
Placements: Only 5% of students which is around 4-5 students get selected. Banks like PNB, ICICI, and HDFC come to campus. An agriculture loan officer and clerk role is offered by JNR Bank. The salary package offered is 5 LPA. Our college provides 6 months of prior training with a stipend of approximately Rs. 6,000 per month.
Infrastructure: There is a Wi-Fi-enabled library with more than 20,00 books and daily newspapers in both English and Hindi. There are football and cricket grounds and basketball and badminton courts. Classrooms have smartboards and Wi-Fi. Labs are equipped with all the accessories and Wi-Fi. The campus has its hospital with basic amenities. Canteens and mess are available.
Faculty: All teachers are Ph.D. holders and very experienced. This course is very relevant because it also provides an outdoor experience in the field of agriculture. RAWE and ELP programs are held in the last year of the college. The difficulty of exams is medium. The passing rate is 95%.
Other: I chose this course after my 12th board exam because I also come from an agricultural family background. Campus life can be improved by providing a more friendly environment for both girls and boys. The boys' hostel is always open, but the girls have a hostel time of 5 AM to 8 PM. The annual events are Teachers Day, Birsa Jayanti, Christmas Gathering, Annual Sports Day, Kisan Mela, and many more.
