Placements: The placements in the mechanical department were better this year. The average salary package was 6.8 LPA, and more than 87% of the students were placed on campus. The core package has been increasing since past few years. The highest placement offered this year was more than 16 LPA, and the lowest was around 4 LPA. Many of the companies like Bajaj and Mercedes which was present for the placement is a huge thing.
Placements: The placements are good for mechanical branch. A lot of core companies come in campus, with a good chunk of automotive ones. Nearly, all the mechanical students get placed, so that is not an issue. The average core salary is around 6lacs and above, and the highest is 21 lac CTC for companies like Trident. The roles are mostly a graduate engineer trainees and in production/operation management. In terms of the internship, a 6-month internship option and opportunities are offered as part of it by ...
Placements: Median CTC for 2016 batch placements for CS is 17.5 LPA, ECE is 10 LPA, EEE is 8.3 LPA, Eni is 7.1 LPA, mechanical is 7 LPA, civil is 6 LPA, and for the chemical is 6 LPA with companies visiting like Oracle, Qualcomm, Flipkart, Amazon, etc. The percentage of students placed is about 97% in CS, 87% in ECE, 92% in EEE, 93% in ENI, 70% in mechanical, 83% in Civil and 83% in the chemical.
Placements: The placements have been consistently excellent at BITS Pilani, especially for computer science with the average package for a CS graduate hovering around anywhere from 12-15 lacs per annum. All the students get placed in the final placements with one or two exceptions. There is a separate placement cell, which takes care of the whole placement process. For the internships, almost everyone gets a summer internship in the college.
Placements: The previous statistics show 100% placement for this branch, but from 2017, they increased the batch strength, so we can't say about placements for current batch. Still, there is an option of practice school where you have the option of converting the internships. Rest all depends on your luck and CGPA.
Placements: The placement stats are really good this year. Oracle took 13 students, BCG took two students, Texas also took 2-3 students, and other companies for IT like Direct, Goldman Sachs, De Shaw, Nutanix, Myntra, Amazon, Samsung, and Citi bank were also here for the placements, and each of them at least took 2 of the students.
Placements: Placements are there in core companies as well as finance, IT and consultancy companies. The average package and placement percentage is most for the CS and electronics streams. There are chemical and mechanical companies that visit the campus in both the semester, but very few students sit for those companies because they prefer further studies. The initial package for core companies is often low because these jobs have long training periods. This information is according to me, being a chemica...
Placements: The placements in the college are really good. Several top companies like Amazon, Goldmann Sachs come every year. The most popular field is IT and electronics. The placements for streams other than engineering are also good. The campus has a record of almost 100% placements.
Placements: Placements are quite satisfactory for master's students but nothing as compared to the bachelor's students. Particularly, the structural engineering has a lot of scope for placements, and the other branches also get a decent placement to start off. Infrastructure has a lot of scope especially with the idea of smart cities coming up, and definitely, the infrastructure boom is on the way because of the budget to be invested in the infrastructure sector.
Placements: The placements in the seniors batch were very good. The placement season is closing in 1 month with everybody who applied as placed. Oracle offered 32 LPA CTC, Postman offered 20 LPA, and so on. Few seniors have got PPOs from their PS2 companies. One of them got 20 LPA from Microsoft. The usual visitors are Amazon, Microsoft, Jp Morgan, Capgemini, MathWorks, postman, Oracle, Bharat seats, BHEL, etc. The placements in core companies have also been good with the average of 8LPA for EEE.
Placements: We have a placement cell that takes care of all the placements in the various companies. Total 110 companies visited the campus covering all the disciplines. Percentage placement of the various branches are chemical - 92%, civil - 100%, EEE - 98%, mechanical - 91%, computer science - 100%, instrumentation - 96%, and manufacturing - 92%. The average package across all the disciplines 13LPA. The average package of the computer science 20 LPA.
Placements: The placement cell at BITS Pilani has been showing consistent results for the past few years. While CSE graduates get placed approximately 100% of the time, the core placements are on the lower side. The highest salary offered was about 60 LPA. While the reputable companies like Microsoft and Amazon offered a good portion of the higher paying packages in the companies like TCS covered, the lower portion.
Placements: The placements are good only computer science people, and for the other branches, the placements are a few. Most of the other branch people take up either finance or try to sit for computer science jobs by doing a few courses. Some of them write GATE and get placed in PSUs. The students run the placements division.
Placements: The placements are very good if you have a 'bitsian' tag name. The average salary offered for CS being around 17 LPA (Oracle, Flipkart and Amazon). For ECE and EEE, the package offered is around 12 LPA. About 95% of the students were placed in the core placements, which is also pretty good with companies like Qualcomm, Intel, Schlumberger and Shell. The average package offered was around 10 LPA.
Placements: Overall, the placements for my batch were good, and not many core companies turned up. I landed an 8 LPA job in Capgemini, which is an IT consultancy. More than 90% of my batch got placed. The placements were good for the past two senior batches too. The trend is consistent.
Placements: Both mechanical and manufacturing students are eligible for all core mechanical and non-core consultancy firms. The average number of openings in each company were around 4-5 GET (graduate engineering trainee). The stats of our batch mechanical and manufacturing students were 45% pre-placement offers. Around, 25% of the students got placed on-campus in the core companies, and 20% in the non-core companies and 8% of the students got into the higher education. The average salary was around 5.5-6.5...
Placements: Placements are great with a lot of students getting placed in IT firms for huge salaries. The rest of them got placed in core companies and finance companies with a huge amount of salaries. About 80% to 90% of the students were placed during the placement season.
Placements: Everyone is given internship opportunities in reputed companies for 6 months. These internships usually have a good PPO (pre-placement offers) conversion ratio. On campus, the placements are also very good for IT, Analytics and Electronics profiles. The number of students placed is also quite good compared to other top institutes.
Placements: I am in the 2nd year, so I haven't been in the placement room till now, but my seniors have, and they have appreciated this college system placements to a great extent. About 96% of the students got placed previous year including on and off campus with a salary range of 8 LPA to 30 LPA in chemical branch overall including CS branches. The salary package has gone above crores. Various big companies visited the campus like Amazon, Flipkart, Uber, Ola, One plus etc., and the students shined off in ...
Placements: The placement of the college is good, and if you are good in studies, you'll be offered with 15-20 LPA package. Depends on the company and your grades, you might get the higher packages. Each year, the plenty of companies visit the campus for the placements.
