BITS Pilani Course Admissions 2026: Fees, Eligibility, Dates & Selection Process

Candidates must have passed ME/ MPharm from a recognised institute/ university with a minimum of 60% aggregate, or MPhil with a minimum of 55% aggregate or any integrated first-degree course of BITS in Pharmacy or its equivalent to apply for MPharm course. Candidates need to hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission.

In case of a campus change, students do not need to get involved in the fee and document process as the process is internally handled by BITS itself. However, if students opt for any other campus and leave their seats at BITS Pilani, they are refunded the additional amount paid for the hostel, as the accommodation at the Pilani campus is less expensive.

If parents arrive for students’ admission at BITS campus, they must take care of their lodgings as the college does not provide an accommodation facility. However, once the hostel room gets allotted to students, parents can stay with them for a day until the classes begin. After the beginning of classes, students must stay at the campus only.

The hostel allotment at BITS Pilani is done both on the day of reporting and the day before. There is no fixed criteria for the room allotment. Also, there is no provision of first-cum-first serve as all the rooms are similar looking and allotted randomly.

Yes, BITS Pilani offers the MTech course to candidates at the PG lebel. Admissions are entrance-based. The course is offered in full-time mode and multiple specialisations. Candidates willing to take admission in the course must fill out the application form before the last date.

The duration of all M.Tech courses at BITS Pilani is two years. Each M.Tech course has 4 semesters in it and each course is offered in full-time mode only. Admission to BITS Pilani Goa is conducted through BITSAT scores. BITSAT registrations usually open in January every year. The application form is not out yet. The entrance exam is to be conducted in May for the first session and June for the second session. Candidates are advised check the official website regularly to keep track of any updates on the admission schedule.

Yes. For BPharma admissions into the BITS campuses, the candidates will require a valid BITSAT score. No other scores will be considered by the authorities for admissions into the B.Pharma courses offered by the participating campuses. However, 12th standard central/state board toppers will be offered direct admissions. These candidates can participate directly in the BITSAT counselling process. These candidates will have to meet the basic eligibility criteria for BITSAT admissions.

BIT Pilani cutoff list for the BPharm course is prepared as per the applicants BITSAT scores. Hence, the cutoff marks vary every year. The last round score for admission in 2023 was 135, which shows an improvement from 2022, where the closing score was 109 for the General-All India category. Aspirants who meet the cutoff criteria become eligible for admission.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani offers a 4-year BTech programme in full-time mode. The course is offered across seven specialisations at the undergraduate level. BITS Pilani BTech course includes specialisations such as Computer Science, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, and Electronics and Communication. BITS Pilani BTech admission is completely based on the scores obtained in the entrance exams.

Yes, BITS Pilani accepts GPAT scores for admission to MPharm course. Apart from the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT), BITS Pilani also accepts BITS HD entrance test scores for MPharm admission.
