Placements: As undergraduate courses have been newly introduced in the Central University of Punjab, the B.Tech 2024 batch is the first batch for their college. There are no credible sources of past placements, but students are assured by the responsible authorities of a safe future and good opportunities.
Placements: Most students got placed from our college. The placement rate is more than 90%. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The recruiting companies are IBM, Cognizant, TCS, etc. Around 50% of students secured internships by TCS. Roles offered are managing level.
Placements: For sociology, the placement system is not there, but they help us in cracking UGC NET/JRF and they are more focused on research, so they will help in that way. They inform us about internships and workshops so we can access those experiences. Also, the university conducts some national and international conferences.
Placements: Professors are highly skilled and well-educated in their domains and provide a good opportunity for research and field knowledge. The placement cell is not that much established in this university, but the research field is above average, and chances of getting your paper published are also possible in most cases.
Placements: Approximately 10% of the students were placed. The highest we got was a package of 12 Lacs PA and the lowest was 4 Lacs PA. Placement related to our course was very low, and students were enrolled in companies like Jubilant Pharma, NXT Wave, etc. Almost 30% of students got internships, and most of them got in top institutes like AIIMS, IISER, IIT, etc.
Placements: A total of 20 students were in the batch. There was no placement opportunity for us, but the technical courses provide placement opportunities. A lot of students got internships in IIT Delhi, AIIMS Bathinda, AIIMS Bhubaneswar, Medgenome, etc. Research associate, genome analyst, and research assistant are the roles offered to students in our course.
Placements: Around 40 seats were available in our course, but there were 32 students enrolled in our batch. There weren't many placements in my course, as most students pursue a Ph.D. after this PG course. The course is of 2 years and is divided into 4 semesters.
Placements: Placements and internship opportunities were offered to the students at CU Punjab. Every year, around 30–35% of the students gets placed in our course. The average package offered was between 3 and 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course were various labs and research hubs, such as Eureka, Verka, RD, etc.
Placements: The top recruiters who pay the highest package are generally private companies that own gyms and other types of training centers. The highest package was offered for 3 lacs per annum. Mostly 70% of the students get placed; the maximum placement happens in elementary school.
Placements: Till now in my course, no one has been placed. So in our course, the future options are to crack the net and go for a Ph.D. Also, students can go for UPSC preparation as well, and some others can also prepare for competitive examinations as well as gain insight into the world.
Placements: Being at a central university, it's not guaranteed to get placed in a big company. Rather the university ensures to make you independent to find a good job. We were six students in MJMC. All of us are working at good places earning a salary package of around 5 LPA. Our batch did internships at News18, Rashtradoot, and Dainik Jagran.
Placements: The number of placements provided in our college is not very good. After completing the degree, students have to search and visit companies on their own. Our university does not provide placements. However, some of the students get internships through various connections. About 25% to 30% of students got internships with an average amount of stipend.
Placements: The university offers placements and career guidance to its students. The placement cell under academic affairs deals with campus placements and internships. About 50% of the students get placed, and 70% of the students get internships.
Placements: There are no direct placements. Head of the Department can tell you about other reputed institutes to pursue higher studies, which will be helpful, but no company will offer placements after your Masters. You have to prepare for NET to pursue a PhD. After the Masters, you should work on your own.
Placements: The course is nice and detailed, it has very elaborate syllabus. The syllabus is mostly skill based and can help an individual in gaining knowledge and training of multiple programming languages like python and R. There is no availability of companies by university, you mostly have to search it on your own. Other than that in research field multiple students join various central research labs and their projects as research assistant and kick start their careers in research.
Placements: M.Sc. human genetics is a research based course. There are no placements in this department. We are being prepared to pursue research further in genetics, as this feild is blooming and India still lacks in the research. So no companies come for recruitment for this department.
