(i) Any Science graduate under 10 2 3 pattern securing minimum of 50 percent marks in aggregate and having Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Genetics, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Psychology, Computer Science, Statistics, Forensic Science, Geography, Geophysics and Geology as main subject (combination of at least three of the subjects) at the Under Graduate level.

(ii) Any graduate having MBBS/BDS/BTech/BE/BPharm degree securing minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate.

MSc ChemistryBSc (Hons)/ BSc under 10 2 3 pattern securing a minimum of 50 percent marks in the aggregate in Science subjects (considering all the three years of BSc Course). The subject in which admission is sought must be Hons subject at BSc (Hons) level/a subject studied in all the three years at Graduate level.
MSc Computer ScienceBSc (Hons)/ BSc under 10 2 3 pattern securing a minimum of 50 percent marks in the aggregate in Science subjects (considering all the three years of BSc Course). The subject in which admission is sought must be Honos subject at BSc (Hons) level/a subject studied in all the three years at Graduate level.
MSc MathematicsBSc (Hons)/B A (Hons)/BSc/B A under 10 2 3 pattern securing a minimum of 50 percent marks in the aggregate considering all the three years of BSc/B A Courses). The candidate must have studied Mathematics Hons. or studied subject Mathematics in the all the three years at Graduate level. For BSc (Hons)/BSc only Science subjects and for BA (Hons)/B A all subjects except those subjects where only pass marks are required and which do not contribute to the total in the final (degree) mark sheet.
MSc PhysicsBSc (Hons)/ BSc under 10 2 3 pattern securing a minimum of 50 percent marks in the aggregate in Science subjects (considering all the three years of BSc Course). The subject in which admission is sought must be Hons subject at BSc (Hons) level/a subject studied in all the three years at Graduate level.
MSc Environmental SciencesA minimum of 50 percent marks (equivalent GPA) in BSc (Hons)/BSc (10 2 3) as well as at 10 & 10 2 examinations.

Q:   What miscellaneous information about eligibility criteria that CUET PG aspirants should be aware of?

A:

For admission in Universities through CUET (PG)-2025, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences etc. of the respective University shall be applicable.

As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective programs. Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the eligibility criteria laid down by the University they are applying to.
Mere appearance in the Entrance Test or securing pass marks at the test does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission to the Programme unless he/she fulfils the Programme wise eligibility conditions of the University they are applying to.

Q:   How many subjects can candidates choose for the CUET PG exam?

A:

Candidates can choose up to three subjects for the CUET PG exam. However, they can also select one subject per exam session. So, if a candidate chooses three subjects, they will have to take the exam three times. It is important to note that the eligibility criteria for different courses may vary. For example, some courses may require candidates to have a specific undergraduate degree in a particular subject. CUET LLB 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to appear for the CUET PG LLB course need to meet the basic/minimal CUET PG eligibility criteria 2025 in order to appear for the exam. CUET LLB eligibility criteria include important requirements like Age Limit, Educational Qualification, Nationality and Reservations that one needs to satisfy.

CUET PG LLB 2025 Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

According to the CUET PG 2025 information brochure, there is no age limit for the candidates appearing in the exam. The candidates who have passed the bachelor's degree/equivalent examination or are appearing in 2025 irrespective of their age can appear in master’s degree programs in the Central Universities through the CUET (PG) 2025 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfil the age criteria of the University to which they are desirous of taking admission.

CUET PG LLB Eligibility Criteria 2025: Nationality

To get eligible for the CUET PG Exam, aspirants must abide by the following citizenship rules:

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • A constituent subject of Nepal, Bhutan
  • A Tibetan refugee who landed in India before 1 January 1962 to make India their permanent home and reside there permanently.
  • Pakistanis, Burmese, Sri Lankans, Kenyans, Ugandans, Tanzanians, Zambians, Malawians, Zaireans, Ethiopians, and people from Vietnam who permanently moved to India.

CUET PG LLB 2025 Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification

An applicant who has graduated in any discipline of Knowledge from a University established by an Act of Parliament or by a State legislature or an equivalent national institution recognized as a Deemed University or foreign University recognized as equivalent to the statutes of an Indian University by an authority competent to declare equivalence.

Minimum qualifying marks in graduation:

  • 45 per cent for the General Category (Relaxation of 5 per cent to the SC/ST/PWD/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates).

CUET PG 2025 LLB Exam Structure 

CUET PG LLB exam pattern 2025 is anticipated to be the same as the previous year. NTA has changed the CUET PG exam pattern for the 2024-2025 academic session. Part A or the general section was removed where questions from general reasoning/ aptitude were asked. The domain-specific questions will now be there to test the candidate's analytical and cognitive approach towards the applied course in the CUET PG 2025 examination.
