Our college provides good faculty members and standard of education.

Placements: The CMI entrance exam is conducted around July, and on average of about 10,000 students write this exam. The exam is difficult, and about 100 students were selected for admission. Glad to be a student at Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI). Absolutely satisfied.

Placements: The culture at Chennai Mathematical Institute is mostly research-based, as many students mainly pursue higher degrees in Mathematics such as Ph.D. and M.Sc. However, campus recruitment is also available. IT companies and financial firms recruit students with salary packages varying from 14LPA to 16LPA. However, most students opt for internships at IITs and NITs. Stipends are also provided. CMI also has an exchange program.

Placements: Almost all the students are placed for master's batches. Since the Institute is a research institute, most of the bachelor's students opt for further studies instead of joining some corporate firm. It does not mean there are no placements or low placements for bachelor's students, there are very good placements for bachelor's students also. Taking the last years' data into account, the average package offered is around 15-16 LPA while the highest goes even beyond 25 LPA. Top recruiting companies...
