More than 300 CXOs have done PhD from Chitkara Business School

April 27, 2023: One of the best business schools in India, Chitkara Business School, has become a hub for future business leaders thanks to its PhD programme in Business Administration. Over the past few years, Chitkara Business School has awarded more than 300 CXOs with doctorates, highlighting the growing importance of higher education in the corporate sector.
Despite not being a new trend, higher education is becoming more and more popular among CXOs. In today's fast-paced, continuously changing corporate climate, executives are understanding the value of advanced degrees to stay one step ahead of the competition. With the knowledge and abilities they acquire with a PhD from a reputable university like Chitkara Business School, executives can navigate complicated business situations and make strategic decisions.

The business administration PhD programme at Chitkara Business School is quite popular. It gives students a thorough understanding of business theory and practise as well as the knowledge and abilities required to navigate complex business environments and reach wise decisions. One of the key elements impacting the trend of CXOs enrolling in Chitkara Business School is the value of a PhD in business administration. The PhD was once thought of as a degree that was only useful in academia and had no practical use. The skills and information acquired through a PhD programme have, however, become more pertinent to the requirements of the corporate sector as the business landscape has grown more complicated, with rapid technology breakthroughs and increased worldwide rivalry.

It's one of the unique aspects of the PhD programme at Chitkara Business School that it gives students the ability to work closely with lecturers who are well-known experts in their fields. The industry connection enables students to learn about the most recent studies and best practices in their area of specialisation. Additionally, it offers students the ability to develop lasting relationships with influential professionals, creating opportunities for advantageous networking. This rigorous programme requires students to finish many basic courses on research methodology, theory, and practice as well as a sizable research project. The comprehensive training required for doing top-notch research and making a contribution to the academic community is provided to students. The success of the programme is demonstrated by the significant number of CXOs who have graduated from the Chitkara Business School's Ph.D. programme in recent years. These business leaders understand the value of higher education and the benefits a Ph.D. from a top institution like Chitkara Business School can provide for them in the corporate world.
A Ph.D. programme also has a number of benefits that go far beyond the academic qualifications it provides. Students may experience a change in their lives as a result of participating in a Ph.D. programme, which offers them the ability to develop new perspectives and ways of thinking. Additionally, it can provide pupils a sense of accomplishment, which bolsters their confidence and self-esteem. The benefits of a Ph.D. for CXOs go beyond professional and individual ones.

With more than 35 institutes in 20 countries, Le Cordon Bleu, founded in Paris in 1895, is one of the world's largest networks of culinary and hospitality schools. This gave birth to her own label, 'Casarecce,' which means 'homemade.' Casarecce is an amalgamation of traditional methods of making pasta with global flavours and the best of Indian grains, all nurtured with love.

The students were quite enthused about participating in the workshop. Chef Sambhavi spoke passionately about experimenting with flavours, ingredients, presentation, and colours during the course. She showed how to prepare Black Pepper Fettuccine with Mushrooms and Parmesan Cheese. She talked with the students about the different types of pasta and how to make them. "It was a great thrill dealing with the students," she remarked of her time at Chitkara University. “Their eagerness to learn is unrivalled. They are so enthusiastic about what they do, and that is what distinguishes them."

Chitkara is not good at studies.

Placements: Around 25% of students got placed in Chitkara. Placement is a big scam. They scam on CTC and in-hand salary. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA for BCA graduates. They provide internships in call centers and very low profile jobs roles are offered like BDE, junior software developer, etc. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, and Deloite.

I am satisfied with amount we have paid and placement we have received.

Placements: Staff and students are very good. Nearly 90% of students are placed abroad, while the remaining 10 percent are placed in India. Some of those who were placed in India chose to open their restaurant or hotel, so they declined the placement offer.

Students who are well focused and hardworking, can gain a good package from campus.

Placements: Talking about the percentage of students placed, then it's a very small amount. Around 40% of students are there who are getting placement. Rest are studying and preparing. The highest package I heard was 19 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average is like 5 to 6 LPA. Schneider, TechMahindra, and Microsoft are some of the major companies. For internships, around 40 to 50% of students got selected. Roles offered are full-stack developer, software developer, and data analyst. Now a days, ML engi...

Placements: Our class has about 100 students. My package is INR 70,000 per month, and we learn the basics of the hotel industry. Placements are done in hotels like Radisson, Taj, and Ramada. At 75 percent, we can easily get an internship. With a few skills, we can get jobs as chief and manager, and in the front office as well.
