B.Sc. in Chemistry - Batch of 2027

Really a good college to take admission in.
Placements: Around 70% of students are placed. This college is good for studies. The highest, lowest, and average salary packages offered in this college. The highest package in my course was offered in 2015, an amount of 20 Lakhs per annum. And there are many top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure, Wi-Fi facilities, and kind good laboratory. The hostel for boys is totally good with sports, mess, and medical facilities. The classrooms are kind but old type, but a student can manage. You get a playground, a library, and everything in the premises.
Faculty: Many curricular and extracurricular activities to participate in. The teaching quality is too good there in SPC, and as far as we talk about the semester exams, they are a bit hard, and that’s good for a student, I guess. Teachers are so helpful and overall excellent.
Other: A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry can lead to many exciting career opportunities in both the public and private sectors. Some of the best things about a B.Sc. in Chemistry include: diverse career options, essential skills, and in-demand skills.

What to Expect from Cluster University Srinagar
Placements: The placement at this college is too bad and I have seen none of the students get placed anywhere after finishing the degrees. Though internships are available for students, there is zero to no placement. Almost all the students get an internship in different companies like banks and other industries.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is honestly very poor, there's no Wi-Fi available, the labs don't have tools available, the library lacks quality books and space to sit and read, and the classrooms are filthy, filled with dust, that are rarely or not cleaned at all. I have not opted for a hostel, but my friends who have say it's bad. The mess, the food is extremely low quality, the canteen sanitation is not good, and very few medical facilities are available. Sports are held but only some popular games are focused on.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified but they've got zero to no experience in teaching. A lot of students have stopped attending classes because of the poor quality of teaching. The curriculum is relevant but the inexperienced teachers just finish the syllabus somehow in just a month and then the exams are held. The semester exams are much difficult and are at a satisfactory level, but students not having been prepared much struggle a lot.
Other: I chose this course to get a better insight and a deep understanding of the business world. The best thing about my course is that it digs deeper into the world of business, the economy, and laws related to it. The teachers could've been better and more experienced and would also provide a protective approach. There are a lot of events and fests that take place in the college throughout the year, the campus crowd is dense with a lot of students being good and connective. The campus surroundings are dirty and uncleaned. There's grass everywhere. A lot of scholarships are available for our college and extracurricular activities are very inclusive and limited.

Absolutely dissatisfied because there are no internship programmes.
Placements: Nice college but poor performance in the field of placements and internship programs. No recruiting company in the Sri Pratap College. A very low percentage of getting jobs from government or private companies. No package offered for the students. So, two rating points.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and facilities for different departments are excellent, like Wi-Fi facility, a nice library, and classrooms, but washrooms are not good. The hostel facility is not available for a lot of students. Its hostel is very small; only a few students are adjusted.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, but they are not serious about students' careers. Otherwise, they are excellent. The exams in this college are very hard, and there is strictness during exams, very tough marking, and lots of students fail in every semester.

Review of Abdul Ahad Azad Memorial College, Cluster University ,Srinagar.
Placements: I am currently pursuing BSc honors in zoology. We are about 150+ student's in the same standard. The degree is for 4 years. There is no placement in our college but a student can go through various fields after completing the degree. There are no roles offered by the university, college, or company directly.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is totally awesome; buildings are well designed. Ground is available. Various games are played. There are various wings available, including the NSS and NCC. But keeping in view the hostel, the hostel is totally bad. The hostel building is not good. Food is not available.
Faculty: The teachers are awesome well trained and educated. The course is very good, and students can study various books during. The college semester exams are for moderate-type students who must achieve a minimum of 30 percent. Exams are easy, but students need to study. No need to work hard to pass out exams. Anyone can just pass by preparing the syllabus, which is about 2/3 units.
Other: The college is good for interested students who can join the responding college through the entrance, so-called CUET.

Not fully satisfied with the education and teaching.
Placements: I think about almost 500 students were having the same subjects like me. They didn't provide any internship opportunities for us, especially the students with a social science background. The students having science stream as their background were given internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The library was quite good, providing various books to students which should be returned after 15 days. The Wi-Fi system was not available, and even our own network was not working in the college. I was not residing in the hostel, but the canteen was good, having a limited variety of food available.
Faculty: Some of the teachers were very hardworking, who did very hard work for us, but some of the teachers were not giving their duties as they had to do. The course was good with a good curriculum, but the only problem was with the teachers who were not interested.
Other: I would only like to wish to improve the teaching staff of the college and make them interested in teaching more. The co-curricular activities are given much importance, and I would give 10 out of 10 to the extracurricular activities.

Needs a little bit of improvement.
Placements: In my course, which is biochemistry , out of 60 students, only 3-5 get placement . The highest package was 12 lacs per annum, the lowest was 7 lacs and the average package was around 9 lacs per annum. 29 percent of students got internships in biochemistry.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Well-equipped classrooms, labs, and libraries are there. Good-quality wifi support is given. The college provides a variety of different courses. The college also has its own medical store , canteen , sports ground and much more.
Faculty: The college provides a wide range of different courses and has almost more than 200 teachers, including permanent and academic arrangement teachers. All those teachers are highly qualified, which makes the college the best in terms of the quality of education .
