JKBOPEE BEd Entrance Exam 2025: The exam body, Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) is expected to release the JKBOPEE B.Ed Entrance Exam dates for the 2025 session soon. The JKBOPEE BEd 2025 exam dates will be released on its official website - jkbopee.gov.in. Desirous candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria will be able to fill in the JKBOPEE BEd 2025 application form online mode from the official website. While filling out the application form candidates will have to pay the application fee in online mode as well to successfully submit the form. The JKBOPEE BEd exam will be held in pen-paper-based mode. The notification for admission to the BEd Programme in the Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE) and the B.Ed (Special Education) programme in the Composite Regional Centre (CRC) will be made available soon. The JKBOPEE entrance exam is a state-level teaching aptitude test to assess the ability of the candidates for prospects of their employment in the education sector, for selection as teachers. The duration of the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Programme is two academic years or as per norms of the affiliating university. JKBOPEE Entrance Exam Admission Process 2025

JKBOPEE Entrance Exam admission process includes the following steps:

 Step 1: Application Fee Payment

The application forms for the B.Ed program have to be submitted online only. The forms are available on the official website. Given below are quick facts related to JKBOPEE Registrations or application forms:

  • Application Fee: INR 1200

  • Payment: online through Integrated Payment Gateway’ with the help of any national Credit/ Debit card/ Net Banking facility

  • Form Correction facility: Available, anytime before its submission

  • Details required in the form: Candidate’s name, Father’s Name, DOB, Category, Scanning and uploading of Passport size photograph, signature and thumb impression, and other documents

Step 2: Fill JKBOPEE B.Ed Exam Application Form

Once the formalities of the application fee payment are completed, candidates need to fill out their JKBOPEE application form through online mode only. Aspirants need to duly fill out and submit their application form for JKBOPEE. On filling in all the details and submitting the application form, applicants are advised to take a printout of their forms, which will be required for future purposes.

Step 3: Download the TSPECET 2025 Admit Card

The admit card for JKBOPEE is issued to only those candidates who register successfully for the state-level examination. The document will be available online on the official websites. Candidates must note that the hall ticket is an extremely important document that one must keep safe till the admissions are finalized.

Note: Candidates will be notified about the release of the JKBOPEE Admit Card on the email ID and mobile number provided at the time of registration.

Step 4: Give JKBOPEE 2025

As per the official prospectus, the entrance exam will have one paper only. The paper will have a total of 180 questions, which will be spread across four sections - General English, General Awareness, Aptitude for the Teaching Profession, and Reasoning. Each question will carry one mark, with a provision of negative marking i.e. for every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted. Candidates are required to attempt the paper within 180 minutes.

Step 5: JK BOPEE Answer Keys

The answer keys for JKBOPEE are usually displayed on the BOPEE’s website in the evening at about 6 p.m. on the conclusion of the test up to noon the next day. The keys will remain visible for three days and thereafter will be removed. The candidates having any complaints against the answer to a question in the question paper are free to make a written representation with a fee of Rs 1000 paid at POS Machine Srinagar/ Jammu supported by documentary proof of standard textbooks on the prescribed format available on the official website.

The Answer Key will be re-examined by the BOPEE based on the representations so received and the revised key if any, will be final and no complaint will then be entertained regarding the revised key. After satisfying the revised Key will be uploaded on the website of the BOPEE. The revised Answer Key, if any, will be applied to the Answer Sheets of all the candidates, no matter whether they have made such representations or not.

Step 6: JKBOPEE Results and Merit List

The results will be made available in both the offices of the BOPEE at Jammu and Srinagar. The authorities will also release the results on BOPEE’s website – www.jakbopee.org/ www.jkbopee.gov.in. The merit lists are prepared based on the inter-se merit of the candidates in the entrance exam in descending order for the Open Merit Category and each Reserved Category separately.

JKBOPEE Entrance Exam Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the program is modified by UT of J&K Government every year. For the current session, candidates applying for JKBOPEE for admission to B.Ed program must:

  • have a valid residence proof of UT of J&K or Ladakh.

  • have passed BA/ BSc/ Bcom/ BCA/ BBA equivalent examination from a recognized University/ Institution as per the 10+2+3 pattern.

  • have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam in open merit and not less than 45% of marks in aggregate in any reserved category.

  • Candidates appearing/appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to appear in the entrance exam, but they must have passed the qualifying exam and secured the percentage of marks required as at above at the time of admission to the B.Ed. course.

To successfully register for the JKBOPEE B.Ed entrance examination 2025, aspirants need to follow certain processes.
