Central University of Himachal Pradesh Review.
Placements: This college has very poor placement. Only a few companies come for placements and that too gives a very low package of about INR 1.2–1.5 LPA. There are no internship opportunities. Students have to either continue their education or switch their field in order to get a job.
Infrastructure: The building and infrastructure are nice. The Wi-Fi is smooth. The labs are okay but can be improved. Some items are not available in the labs. The classrooms are small so it is difficult to adjust. The hostel is alright. There are many students so we make friends quickly. The food is normal but could be improved.
Faculty: The faculty is good. They teach in depth. But the curriculum is not designed for industries. They are old and need changes. It is more theoretical than practical. The semester exams are easy and can be dealt with if you study a few days prior to the exams.

    The college infrastructure is beautiful.
Placements: The college does not provide jobs to the students. The college does not provide the internship to the students. There are no companies visiting the college for campus placement. The average package is zero because there are no companies coming for the campus placement.
Infrastructure: There is a library facility available for the students where they can read newspapers, books, and journals, which will guide them in the future. There is a lab facility available for the students. The college provides the medical facility at no cost to the students.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful by nature and guide the students for the future. The teachers are well qualified and have great knowledge in their domain. The teachers suggest various things to the students that will help them in the future. This course does not make the students industry-ready.

I can say that our college is good.
Placements: The college placements are for a total of about 200 students in our college who are placed in big companies. The highest package is 17 LPA, the lowest package is 2.1 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA. In our college training placements, so many students get experience. The companies are GoGreen, Nalco, Pool, etc. The percentage of students who got interns in NGOs is 72%.
Infrastructure: The facilities, such as labs, classrooms, libraries, sports ID cards, and cabin lockers for each student, The toilets are so clean. Our college provides hostel facilities. Hostels are well-furnished, spacious, and have spacious rooms with access to water and current facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are so friendly and helpful in teaching. The curriculum of the course covers all topics, and teachers teach in a practical way so we understand in an easy way. The teaching quality is good. They make students ready for the industry. The semester exams are hard to pass. The passing percentage is 83%.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty and the efforts which they make to teach.
Placements: There are no placements from the department for M.Sc. physics students. But the syllabus is such that many students clear there NET exams. There is no placement cell of department. But the department arranges to send students to various labs and to learn many things which will help us to get jobs.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available and every student is given there own id to use internet. Labs of the department are well-equipped with about 60 numbers of computers. But the number of apparatus are less. Classrooms are clean with projectors equipped in each class. Library provides every book related to our syllabus. Every year sports meet is organised which lasts up to 2 weeks. Quality of food of canteen is average. Hostel rooms are good but have very limited seats. Campus is small, but everything is organised very well.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and are experts in there respective fields. Teaching quality was excellent. Whiteboard teaching and power point presentations. Student to faculty ratio is 15:1. We didn't get industry exposure. Course curriculum is useful for various exams like NET-JRF, JEST GATE.
Other: Many guest lectures are organised by the department, events are organised like Science day etc. Campus crowd is not much due to the partition of campus at different places. Campus surrounding is beautiful. Scholarships are provided by the universities to the students whose are poor and can't afford their children studies. There are not much extracurricular activities.

Good exposure in field of theoretical physics. Very good facilities as well.
Placements: Most of the student from the department of physics and astronomical sciences are placed with research projects. 16 out of 30 are pursuing Ph.D. in their respective specializations. The ones who have qualified NET or SET join as assistant professors in good colleges. The highest stipend for Ph.D. is Rs. 18000 and the lowest is Rs. 8000.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are available separately for every department and in the library and offices as well. However, the space is limited. The labs are well-equipped. The food and refreshments in the canteen are available at reasonable prices and proper hygienic conditions are maintained. The ostel rooms are spacious with 2 members in each room. The food quality is average.
Faculty: The faculty is brilliant. All of the professors are well-known and members of scientific societies in India and abroad as well. They are helpful and hardworking as well. The student teacher ratio is 1:7. The curriculum is useful. Regular workshops were organised for students and faculty as well where scientists were called to deliver lectures about the recent developments in the concerned fields.

    Satisfied with the best facilities.
Placements: Best college for me. The percent of students placed in my course is 79%. The highest package is 28 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 to 5 LPA. Recruiting companies are IBM, Biocon, EIA, etc. The percentage of students who got internships from the course is 83%. Internship opportunities in our course have a 74% success rate.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good, like Wi-Fi on campus, and labs are well-equipped. Wi-Fi is excellent. Labs have good computers. Classrooms are clean and have good lighting effects. The library has many books. The good part is that they allow us to borrow for many days, and the penalty is less for late submissions. Every odd semester we have a fest, and every even semester we have sports and intra-college competitions.
Faculty: Many teachers are Ph.D. holders and are very experienced. Exams are conducted very strictly, and you can get good marks if you study from the first day. 60% is the pass percentage. We will have two internals and one end-of-semester exam. Exams are hard to pass, and they teach us in an understanding way so we can easily pass. 74% is the passing rate from last year.
