Placement Cell for MBBS at Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences

Unfortunately, according to the students' reviews, there is no Placement Cell specifically designed for MBBS students at Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences. Instead, students are offered internships in the college hospital and may opt for residency programs or pursue higher education such as post-graduation.

Here's what the students have said:

    * "We don't have a placement cell like engineering colleges. Most of the students of this college start their junior or senior residentship in this college only after completing courses." (Source: Review)
    * "Students can easily appoint as doctors in a nearby PHC with a salary package of approximately 7-8 LPA to a newly passed MBBS doctor." (Source: Review)

In summary, while there may not be a formal Placement Cell, students still have opportunities to gain practical experience through internships and potentially secure employment in healthcare institutions.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: It was the best college in Nagpur for medical students. It provided the best futuristic result to build our future. Almost 50% of students got placed in our batch with the highest salary packages. One of the top medical hospitals offered and play the best role as a good doctor in life.
Infrastructure: Our college provided the best infrastructure and facilities. Our college provided facilities like a hostel, mess facility, a canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was excellent. The course curriculum was relevant and made students industry-ready. Semester exams were not difficult.
Other: I opted for this course because it is the most professional course. It is a good college. The management of the college is good. It is noted as the best college in Nagpur and has the best quality of education.

Review of DMIMSU - Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences.
Placements: There are about 200 MBBS seats with 15% NRI seats, and the rest there are NEET seats. Almost 100% of the students from our course get an internship at the college. Top roles like MBBS, BDS ayurvedic, physiotherapy, nursing, etc., are offered to the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but it lacks basic facilities like Wi-Fi, etc. The hostel is not well-developed. Labs, classrooms and the library are good. The quality of the food served is the worst I ever had in my life till now. Sports and other facilities are also good.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good, helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Exams are average. The pass percentage is 95%.
Other: You can do MBBS from this college but never think about doing a PG from this college. It is not a good place to learn things related to the medical field.

Moderately satisfied because of the reputation the college holds.
Placements: The college is a medical college and doesn't have any need for placement as jobs are not the main priority of the students. All the students have to do the compulsory internship in the college itself, as it's compulsory by NMC. Top roles are president and prominent positions in various NGO's.
Infrastructure: Decent facilities and are on par with other medical colleges. The library needs more space and lecture halls need better ACs. Rest all is fine and acceptable, not the best in the segment but not the worst. Resources are provided for curriculum-related topics and help in academics.
Faculty: The faculty is good and senior faculty members are available who have enough experience in teaching and patient care. Regarding the curriculum, it's a little fast-paced and can be moderate to the extent that things go smoothly, as opposed to chasing the clout of completing the syllabus.
Other: Fest is organized but better management of the same can be done mass events are held but when the auditorium itself is small, the whole point is missed. Scholarship are provided to students who excel in competition and wide array of extracurricular activities are provided; most of them need to be free but are again paid.

Our college provides the best infrastructure and medical facility.
Placements: MBBS does not have placements cell. However, we are provided with the opportunity to do an internship in our college hospital only. Students can easily appoint as doctors in a nearby PHC with a salary package of approximately 7-8 LPA to a newly passed MBBS doctor. Some students prefer further studies, i.e., post-graduation.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms and libraries are equipped with Wi-Fi facility, whiteboard, audio system, projector, air-conditioners and soft benches. There are separate hostels for boys and girls, and even the hostels are separated based on the course. Hostels are equipped with air-conditioners and have 24 hours of CCTV surveillance system. The quality of the food served here is satisfactory, and there is a cricket ground behind boys hostel where many sports like football, badminton and cricket are played. A futsal ground is also available near girls hostel.
Faculty: Teachers here are all post-graduates who teach their respective subjects. They conduct classes regularly and take attendance strictly. Our college adopts all the guidelines provided by MCI regarding the course curriculum. Students who become doctors from this institute will always be great than others.
Other: Maybe the course duration is 6 months more than expected, so I wish that it should be changed. Ganesh festival is the annual event organised here, which is famous all over the Wardha city. The campus crowd is well educated. The campus is well connected by road and railway, and auto service is also excellent.

It's a good college if you want to study much more things along with medical science.
Placements: As it' a medical college, there are no direct placements like engineering colleges. However, most of the students of this college start their junior or senior residentship in this college only after completing courses. It is good to see the students perform well in other institutes as faculty.
Infrastructure: The campus is moderately healthy with respect to all the aspects of the college for any student. There are air-conditioned lecture halls, food court, sports facilities and health club, and all are nice. Boys hostels are of average quality but equipped with all the facilities
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are nice. They have to be nice as strictness level is the same for students as well as teachers. There are a good number of skilled faculty members. Courses are taught by these people only. As the course is vast, some efforts must be taken by students also, and faculty members encourage them to take those efforts.

Our college faculty are student-friendly. Great infrastructure. Events are conducted here.
Placements: Placements are not provided for medical students because they have to work for government hospitals after completing MBBS. Later on, they have to pursue postgraduation. All students get an internship from college. They have to complete their internship in the college hospital.
Infrastructure: All classrooms are fully air-conditioned. Labs are fully equipped. The library is also air-conditioned, and all books related to the study are available. Our college conducts annual sports events. Gym and gaming facilities are also available. Hostel rooms are awesome.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very helpful and student-friendly. They are highly educated, and all have in-depth knowledge of their subject. The teaching method used by them is student-friendly. The student to faculty ratio is well. The course curriculum is very useful. Industrial exposure is not provided here.
Other: Ganesh festival celebration is the main fest in our college, and the festival is celebrated for 10-12 days. It is full of enjoyment and refreshment. Energia is an annual sports event organised here. Campus surrounding is very peaceful and natural. There is lots of greenery. Extracurricular activities like a marathon, get set go, etc., are conducted here. They conduct the exam for the scholarships.
