Happy to know that you are interested in taking admission to DEI. The admission procedure is very simple. It goes like this- you'll have to fill out an application form that shall be available in two modes- online as well as offline. The form would cost you just Rs.275. Thereafter you'll have to give an entrance test that shall be conducted by the end of May. You can go through the syllabus on the college's official website. If you clear the cutoff which is just 33% of marks then you'll be eligible to fill out the second form which is meant for GD and PI rounds. A date would be allotted to you for your respective Group Discussion and Personal Interview. At the end, a combined scorecard is prepared that comprises your entrance test, GD, PI, high school, and intermediate marks and also some marks are allotted for certificates in different categories. You just need to fill up the application form and prepare yourself well for the written test first. Your graduation in a different stream won't affect you as long as you have a clear and good explanation as to why from biotechnology to MBA that too in marketing. Ask yourself first what the real reason is and why you wanna do MBA because this shall help you in your personal interview once you clear the written test. Also, prepare well for the group discussion round in which you can take up some current topics or some social issues. All the best for your preparation.

Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) usually conclude the application process for the MBA programme and other PG courses in April. Aspiring candidates must fulfil the following conditions required for admission in the MBA programme at DEI:

Candidate must possess a UG degree irrespective of the discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate. Candidate must take the Admission Test in online supervised mode, and based on the performance in the said test, the candidate will be shortlisted for further admission rounds. Based on their performance in the aforesaid test, candidates will be shortlisted for GD and PI rounds.

Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) accepts admission in the MBA programme through an admission test in online supervised mode. Candidates who possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate can apply for the admission test in an online supervised mode through DEI official website. Based on their performance in the said exam, candidates will be shortlisted for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI) rounds.

Candidates who qualifies both the GD and PI rounds can register for the counselling process, followed by document verification and fee payment to complete the admission process and final seat allotment.

There is no such provision to get direct admission to the Dayalbagh Educational Institute's MBA programme. Aspiring candidates must fulfil the following conditions required for admission in MBA programme at DEI:

• Candidate must possess a UG degree irrespective of the discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate.
• Candidate must take the Admission Test in online supervised mode and based on the performance in the said test, the candidate will be shortlisted for further admission rounds.
• Based on their performance in the aforesaid test, candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI) rounds.
• Selected candidates must report to the university’s admission cell for document verification and fee payment.
