Good faculty, placements but bad infrastructure

Placements: Placements were good in my batch and also for the seniors. Almost 95+ percent students were placed in CSE with an average package of 3.25 LPA. The maximum package offered was approximately 10 LPA. Infosys is among the major recruiters here. Other MNCs are Capgemini and Cybage. Recently, Amazon had visited for the internships and they took 7-8 students from junior batch giving a good stipend of approximately 40,000 per month. Overall, the student should not worry about placements in CSE departmen...

All after spending four years of graduation at DDU.

Placements: Placements are good for Computers and IT departments. Also, reasonably good for mechanical and chemical engineering students. No hope for civil engineers. IC placements are also relatively better. The average package varies from 2.5 to about 5 lakhs per annum. Major recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Reliance, Essar, and others.

DDU - a tough nut to crack.

Placements: The placements were pretty good if you just consider the numbers. I think 90% of the students were placed from CE department. The lowest salary package should be 1.8-1.9 LPA and the highest should be 9 LPA. Roles of developers, junior engineers, and system engineers were offered. I think 95% of the students got an internship from the college itself, they did not have to go and search for it. The highest stipend offered should have been 25k and the lowest should be 4k-5k. ...

Only good thing is faculty.

Placements: To be placed, students should be well qualified. I am from EC department which had around 50 percent placement in the last year. Talking about computer and IT branches, they have slightly more placements in number. Various companies like Amazon, Reliance, Infosys, Vodafone, Matrix, Einfochips had visited. In my branch (EC) around 61 companies came for the placement and training purpose. Talking about internship, almost every student has got one from our college. ...

Review of Dharmsinh Desai University.

Placements: Overall placements are very good. In chemical engineering, computer engineering and information technology, it is almost 100%. In IT and CE, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Ishi System and many more companies came for placements. In chemical engineering, companies like Reliance, GSFC, GNFC, UOP Honeywell, Coromandel, DCM SHRIRAM, GACL, Atul, etc came for placements.

Satisfied with course and curriculum activities, lab equipment and management. Sports not good.

Placements: Placements of our batch are average because the companies have limited vacancies. Many core companies like Reliance, Nirma, Adani, Linde, Atul Chemicals, and around 20 other small companies came for placement. The college also offered off-campus placement.

One of the best colleges with respect to placements.

Placements: Placements of the college are decent. Around 75-80% of the students were placed this year. The highest salary offered was Rs. 16 LPA. The lowest salary was around Rs. 2 LPA, and average salary was around Rs.3.25 LPA. Companies such as Infosys, Ishi Systems, Evive Health, Tech Mahindra, Tatva Soft, E-Infotech, BooTree Solutions, Argusoft, Crest and many more recruited students. Roles offered were system engineer, Java developer, system testing, Python developer, etc. The highest stipend offered...

Absolutely happy because of the academics, discipline, and placements in 2014

Placements: Placement is really good in DDU compareD to other same tier-two college of India. In my batch and the senior batch, everyone got placed. The highest package was 3.32 LPA for our batch. Following major companies visited during our placement session TCS, Infosys, iGate, Einfochip, Informatica, Argusoft, Cybage, Tatvasoft, Evosys, Wishtree Technologies, etc. Generally, all of the above companies offer software developer profile. Completely enjoyed my chemical engineering

Placements: The placements for my batch were amazing. Many companies visited the campus. Some of them include GSFC, Zydus, Deepak Nitrite, Reliance and much more. Forty percent of us got placed. The average salary offered was approximately 3.5 - 3.7 lakhs per annum. The interview rounds are quite tough but if you are good in your curriculum, then it is a piece of cake for you. The 2017 batch saw an increase in the placements compared to the last year.

DDU: Great education along with the best management.

Placements: DDU is in the list of top 10 colleges of Gujarat because of its good management and totally different education system with more than 60% placements. Generally, the percentage of placement is more in computer engineering following by IT and chemical engineering. Mechanical and civil engineering branches do not get much benefit of campus recruitment, while IC and EC branches have a moderate rate of placement. Here is the percentage of placement for various branches are mentioned for 2017: compute...

Various companies like Reliance, Linde, L&T, KHS comes for recruitment. Decent companies like TCS, Infosys, Igate and many IT companies visit. Awesome placements. Best college in India.

Dharmsinh Desai University review.

Placements: The placement in DDU is one of the impressive factors. TCL, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and Amazon visit our college and offer placements. Last year 113 out of 120 students were placed during campus placements. The average salary offered was 3-4 lacks per annum. 9 students were recruited by Amazon from our college in the previous year.

Good placements, the best teaching, bad campus and the worst exam system.

Placements: We cannot say it is bad in terms of quantity but in terms of quality, it is the worst. I would say it is like they are pushing students of all disciplines to join the IT sector. Generally, more than 40 students get placed. But in terms of Gujarat, it is the best one. You will surely be satisfied in terms of the number of companies visiting every year. So you will get placed if you have a bit different skill than the students in the college.

I am very happy that I have done my computer engineering from DDU.

Placements: Many companies visit the campus every year. The advantage of being a computer engineering student in this college is being placed in a good company. Companies like Infosys, Argusoft, Crest Data Systems, Ishi Systems, Tech Mahindra and Cybage are amongst the big companies that visit every year. Amazon also visited this year. The placement percentage of computer engineering is approximately 90%. The stipend offered ranges from INR 8000 - INR 16000.

If you are planning to get enrolled in DDU, then there won't be any space to have doubt. Go on.

Placements: As per the recent updates, we got thirty students placed out of total fifty five students. And the important thing is that out of them, twenty nine students are in core industries such as Nirma, Adani, GNFC, Reliance and so many others. Talking about my senior batch, they were quite unlucky as about 20 students were in core branch industry and few around 8-10 in software based companies.

There is no doubt that its superb to be here. The kind of quality one can have is the best.

Placements: Placement opportunities in my college are seriously so good if I compare it with so many other colleges. Even till now, in my class, we have had 30 students out of 55 placed and many companies are about to come. Except 1 student we are all in the core industries like Nirma, GNFC, Reliance, Adani etc. Efforts from faculty members are good towards it.

The college faculty are supportive. Other than civil, the placement is the best.

Placements: DDU is a famous institute for chemical engineering in Gujarat but other than this, the highest placement was done by computer and IT branches. Approximately 80 out of 120 got placed. In the mechanical department, the placement is not bad as around 40% students got placed in mechanical. Well if I say about my department, great companies named Linde, L&T, GSFC and ONGC came but they selected only masters students, so if I say in the civil department the lowest placement occurs in BTech batch, that...

Placements: Many companies attend the campus. Companies like Ishi Systems, Crest Data Systems, Infosys, Amazon, Cybage and much more visit every year. Approximately 80-90% of computer engineering students got placed. The salary ranges from INR 300,000-750,000 and it varies from company to company. Placements: Placements are up to the mark. All the deserving students and those who are interested in placements are placed in well-known companies. Though the package is not so good sometimes. EC department, in particular, has the highest salary of 3.5 lakhs per annum and the lowest one goes to 1.5 lakhs per annum.

Placements: Placements are conducted in a very good manner. Especially, a big number of students is placed every year from computers and IT engineering departments. Various famous companies come to hire students every year, so I would say your chances are high to get placed.
