March 01, 2024: The Synapse'24 festival held at DAIICT Gandhinagar from February 22nd to 25th, 2024, was an exhilarating event aimed at fostering unity and showcasing creativity. This year's festivities exuded vibrant energy, championing diversity, innovation, and dynamism. The festival catered to a wide range of interests, ensuring there was something enjoyable for everyone in attendance. Attendees were treated to uproarious stand-up comedy performances by renowned comedians such as Nishant Suri and Gurleen Pannu. Additionally, they were enthralled by electrifying concerts featuring Amit Trivedi, Salim Sulaiman, and Antara Mitra.
But the excitement didn't stop there. Technological enthusiasts engaged in activities like solving Rubik's cubes in Synocubix, tackling challenging problems in Math-ify, and participating in spirited debates in Samwaad. Attendees were treated to uproarious stand-up comedy performances by renowned comedians such as Nishant Suri and Gurleen Pannu. Additionally, they were enthralled by electrifying concerts featuring Amit Trivedi, Salim Sulaiman, and Antara Mitra.
But the excitement didn't stop there. Fashion aficionados had the opportunity to explore the latest trends and designs at Rampage, while writers showcased their talents in Shailee through online competitions and workshops. The festival culminated in a spectacular Concert and DJ Night, where attendees danced the night away. Students emphasized the significance of celebrating individual differences and talents, with Synapse serving as a platform for fostering friendships and enjoyment. Placements: 70-80% are placed, with the highest being 50 LPA, mostly by Google. The lowest is TCS at 4 LPA. Top recruiters include UnifyApps, Amazon, and Sears. Placements: DAIICT boasts impressive placement records, with around 90% to 95% of eligible students securing offers annually. The average salary package ranges from 6-8 LPA, with top performers earning 20–45 LPA, especially in roles like software engineering, data Science, and product management. Leading companies such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Qualcomm, and Goldman Sachs regularly recruit from DAIICT. Placements: In the years 2022-2024, approximately 370 students out of 430 (approx.) were placed through on-campus placements. The median package was nearly 12-13 LPA. The average package was around 17 LPA. The highest package was 84 LPA offered to 2 students from Atlassian. Top recruiting companies were Microsoft, Sprinklr, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Google, and Bank of New York.
Placements: In 2023, 99% placement was done, and in 2024, due to the recession, only 58% to 60% of students were placed. Our top recruiting companies are Amazon, Morgan Stanley, Sprinkler, and Microsoft. This year, Apple also recruited 7 or 8 people from our college.
Placements: Approximately 90–95% of students get campus placements at our college. In my batch of 121 students all the students gets campus placements. The highest package was 36 lpa, and the lowest package was 6 lpa. The average package for our course is 8–12 LPA. Around 100% of students get internships with the stipend. The top companies are Paytm, Amazon, Wordpress, Flipkart, etc.
Placements: From the 7th semester, students are eligible to attend placement interviews. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, Sprinklr, Amazon, etc., visit our campus for placements. The highest salary package offered is 82 LPA. The lowest salary package is 7 LPA and 16.06 LPA is the average salary package. Around 100% of students get placements.
