Candidates applying for UG courses at Fakir Mohan University must complete a minimum of Class 12. The aggregate for UG courses is mostly 45%. Hence, aspirants with 70% aggregate in Class 12 are eligible to apply for UG admission. There is a relaxation of 5% in aggregate for reserved category aspirants. Besides, candidates must also fulfil the selection requirements for the opted programme.

Better will be personal choices but Fakir Mohan University has some good education and good faculty and facilities compared to the North Orissa University. So Fakir Mohan University is some what better to choose

Fakir Mohan University offers some of the UG and PG courses in self-financing mode. The courses include MPhil, BA LLB, MSc Applied Microbiology, MSc Chemistry, B.Ed-M.Ed, MLIS and PMIR. The self-financing courses are not subsidised by the university and aspirants need to pay the full cost of the couse. 

Fakir Mohan University (FMU) in Balasore offers an MBA programme that lasts two years and has three specializations. Admission is based on entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, or OJEE (Odisha Joint Entrance Examination). However, CAT is not required for MBA programs in Indian colleges.

• Have studied (PCM), Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or (PCB) (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) as core subject combinations
• Have passed the above examination under the faculty of Science/ Technology / Engineering/ Pharmacy etc.
