FRI Dehradun - Forest Research Institute Scholarships and Funding
University provides merit scholarship to Meritorious Students in each course. The scholarship may be upto Rs.11, 000/- per semester and is awarded separately for each semester depending on the result of the previous semester. For the purpose of award of scholarship in the first semester the result of the entrance test is considered and the topper in general category and SC/ST category are awarded the scholarship in each course.
The Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India will provide a modest Scholarship amounting to $ 4230 for the full course to each selected student to support Tuition, Sports & Magazine,
Library/ Teaching Aid, Hostel and Degree Fees. The Mess charges will be paid by the students themselves. The caution money ($50) which is refunded after the completion of the course,would also be paid by the candidates.
Government decided to award 10 Scholarships per year to the students of South Asian Nations for pursuing PostGraduate Courses at Forest Research Institute Deemed to be University, Dehradun (Uttarakhand).
Total 10 seats are available for MEA -FRI Scholarship.

To be eligible for the MEA scholarship, the family income of a student should be less than Rs.1,50,000 per year. Additionally, you should have a rank of higher than 5000 in the Govt. of Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination (KEAM Rank).
