Q:   Is MBBS at Geetanjali University a good choice?

    A:
    {Source: MBBS students & alumni}

Based on reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

Infrastructure and Facilities: The college has a good infrastructure, with well-equipped classrooms, libraries, and hostels. The campus is eco-friendly and has plenty of green spaces. While some students mention that the hostel fees may not be justified by the services provided, others appreciate the comfortable living conditions.

Teaching and Faculty: The faculty members are generally well-qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. They guide students well and encourage active participation. However, some students feel that some teachers may not be enthusiastic about teaching, and only focus on lecturing.

Placements: As an MBBS program, Geetanjali University does not offer direct placements. Instead, students can opt for internships at hospitals, which can lead to job opportunities. According to some students, most students from the current batch secured placements in private hospitals, with salaries ranging from INR50,000 to INR60,000 per month.

Student Life: Students seem to enjoy a positive experience at the college, with regular events and festivals organized by different batches. The campus atmosphere is lively, and many students appreciate the opportunity to interact with peers from diverse backgrounds.

Course Curriculum: The curriculum is well-structured and relevant to the field, with a strong emphasis on clinical readiness. Practicals and lab sessions are frequently conducted, and students appreciate the hands-on learning experience.

Value for Money: Overall, students feel that the cost of pursuing an MBBS programme at Geetanjali University is reasonable considering the quality of education and facilities provided.

While there may be individual variations in opinion, these general trends suggest that pursuing an MBBS programme at Geetanjali University can be a good choice for those interested in medicine and willing to put in the effort required to succeed.

All the facilities were good and faculty members were helpful .
Placements: From the 7th semester, students can be eligible for their job in hospitals. Up to 90 percent of students got placed in this college. My plans after getting the degree are to do postgraduation and become a very good surgeon. I am in 2 years right now, so that's why I am not eligible for a job. But our seniors took the job in a very good hospital.
Infrastructure: Yes, the campus is good. I have many friends here who make the whole journey very fine, and the campus is good. It has many canteens, many libraries, and a sports complex. Yes, there is a student union that manages everything. Our hostel is quite good as compared to any hostel in our state. It has proper water and electricity supply, and the wardens are also very helpful.
Faculty: We have 19 departments here, and the faculty in all of the departments is so good. The exams are conducted by the university, and the marking scheme is to gain 50% to pass them. We got the proper guidance from everyone; the semester was having at mid-December, and the passing percentage is 80 percent.
Other: I like to become a doctor, and this college is really good. The campus has so much crowding.

Absolutely satisfied with the facilities, faculty, and good placements.
Placements: In a 4.5-year course, the every-year fee is 728000 for the management seat. Hostel fee is 3 Lacs per year. The fee structure is the same for every category that I know of. The internship is to be done in the same hospital as the college. Its duration is 1 year. It is compulsory to be done from the same college. There is a little stipend also provided for work.
Infrastructure: The library of our college is very nice. You can study from 8:00 am in the morning to 12:00 am at midnight. Books are available for issuing; you can issue books of interest and study in the library itself. The hostel provides electricity, beds, and table chairs for you. Rest of the equipment you can arrange for yourself, like the fridge and induction stove, are allowed. AC is also allowed, but extra charges were paid for that.
Faculty: Many faculty for one subject. Faculty members are approachable and open to all the doubts we ask. At the end of each semester, there are university exams, and during the semester, there are 3 internal exams that we have to pass to attempt university exams. The curriculum includes award postings. Interaction with real patients so we can learn better.
Other: The campus is very nice, has so much crowd, and all the activities, like sports events, were organized.

The college absolutely satisfies facilities and has good placements in 2022.
Placements: The college gives many opportunities to its students for placements, job opportunities, and internships. Deserving candidates always get the best possible placements at various hospitals in the country, and the college is well-equipped with all the essential treatment equipment. The staff is very helpful to everyone, and the salary packages are overall good.
Infrastructure: The fees for the college are quite high. The fee for the first year is around 19 lakhs. The total cost of the course is around 78 lakhs, including all the necessary charges. The college has nicely designed and structured hostels for boys and girls separately. The college charges around 2,500,000 for one year. The fees include room rent, food, and cleaning charges. The college food is not very good but okay in taste.
Faculty: The teaching staff is pretty experienced and well-maintained. The infrastructure is somewhat outdated. In terms of academics, the best thing is the clinical knowledge, as the hospital has a huge patient intake. The institute was also awarded 'Medical Institute of the Year' by the Indian Education Awards 2016 in Delhi. This college has good teaching staff, and the passing percentage is 90 percent; students pass easily in the exams.
Other: Nothing needs improvement; everything is good in our college. The events are the best at this college, such as Ganesh Chaturthi and Navratri.

    Review of Geetanjali University.
Placements: There are no placements or salary packages in our course because you can easily get a job in a private hospital with a salary of Rs. 60-80k per month. There are a total of 250 seats, of which 10 are government seats. After completing the course, many students start preparing for exams. During the internship, you have to work 8-9 hours with a stipend of 7-8k per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent and well-designed. Our college is located in the range of the Aravalli hills. The food is good; we have a big central mess. Water coolers are available for outsiders. Boys' and girls' hostels are separate; we have two people living in one room with an attached bathroom, study table, bed, and almirah.
Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified and well-experienced in their respective subjects. All teachers hold doctorates. There are a total of 20 departments in our college. Students must maintain 75% attendance to sit for exams. Before the university exam, there is a pre-university exam, which is very important for all students. Exams are tough; every year, 70-80 students fail.
Other: I am Chandra Chabra from the MBBS course. I have experienced a great environment here. Apart from studies, I also enjoy spending time with my friends.

Absolutely satisfied with facilities and have good placements.
Placements: This educational institution was founded in 2008 and is renowned as the second most prestigious private medical college in Rajasthan. Approximately 250 students are admitted annually, with 240 seats being privately funded and 10 seats covered by government funding. Upon completion of their MBBS degree, students are required to undertake a compulsory one-year internship. Additionally, this college offers competitive average packages to its graduates.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure at this institution are of exceptional quality. The classrooms are well-appointed and provide excellent learning environments. Additionally, the college boasts a state-of-the-art library with air conditioning and a capacity to accommodate 1000 students. What sets this institution apart is the unique bridge connecting the hospital and college buildings, a feature not found in other colleges to the best of my knowledge. The hostel facilities are also commendable, as evidenced by the high ratings given by numerous students for the mess food. Furthermore, the presence of a common playing ground adds to the overall appeal of the institution.
Faculty: In the MBBS course, there are multiple departments due to the inclusion of various subjects. The NMC establishes regulations for these departments, each of which is headed by a HOD (Head of Department). Alongside the HOD, there are associate professors. The role of the HOD is crucial as they determine the dates and timings of examinations, which can be quite challenging. However, they undertake this responsibility for the benefit of the students. The NMC also sets criteria for examinations, requiring students to achieve a minimum of 40 marks in theory and 60 marks in practical in order to pass.
Other: Because I want to become a healthcare worker.

Absolutely satisfied with the facilities and had good placements in 2021.
Placements: Around 80-90% of students were placed in this course, and after the first year, in the second year, postings start, and students have to attend all the postings because at the end of each department posting, the department takes award leaving and gives internal marks. After completing four years of study, students have to do one year of internship, which is necessary for each and every person.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure in our college are good. We have the college building and hospital near each other, separate and have one bridge that joins both the buildings. Furnished classes, good AC library, and hostel facilities are also good. We have 24-hour medical facilities available and a large sports ground.
Faculty: Teachers of Geetanjali Medical College are well knowledgeable and have the best teaching experience. Also, before entering the teaching department, the college will see demo classes of teachers to observe how they explain the topics. Teachers make many doubt groups where students raise their doubts, and teachers solve them.
Other: Because I want to because a health care worker .
