Dissatisfied with the placements, average faculty, but excellent infrastructure.

Placements: If you want to get placed, then you should be a CSE or an ECE student, because those are the ones eligible for all the placements that we ever get. My stream is mechanical and hardly we had 3 companies. Even for those companies, we had to face other branches too. Coming to our training and placement department, I can say they are the worst. Many mechanical companies surround the college, but they were unable to manage a single company to get us placed. I don't think our TNP department is as effe...

The college has very high fees and not recommended to join by paying so much money.

Placements: The college has the worst placements as only TCS and Accenture come to the college for recruiting. The college has no other companies to come and recruit in mass which is very problematic to the students and some fake companies also come for the placements. The college is not at all good for placements. Please, don't bluff the students.

Overall, it is an average college.

Placements: It is not very good in placements because every month, at least one company comes to this university, and selects the students. Not everyone is allowed to go to the interview, the class lecturer only decides which student is fit enough to go to the placements. In this way, the placements are going on in this university.

The campus is good, and one drawback is the placements as it has a few placements.

Placements: In this college, the placements are less. A few companies visit our college, and only a few students got placed from the last three years. A few people only got placed in this college as a few companies visit the campus in Bangalore.

The college is good not the best, and the students will be spoiled easily.

Placements: The placement percentage is 90%. Nearly, five multinational companies visit the campus. Most of the students got selected by TCS. We can easily get the job in the university. The placements will be conducted according to the student capability. The companies like Amazon, Tata Consultancy, Flipkart, Deloitte, Accenture, etc., visit the campus. The job is confirmed for those who passed out on the campus. Wipro and Microsoft are the best among all. The maximum students in GITAM have the bookish kno...

A review on GITAM University.

Placements: The placements are not much good because GITAM is not a university, it is deemed to be a university. But, they say everyone that the university placements happen every month, all big companies to the college, but they select only one or two members in jobs. In this way, the placements happen in this college.

Dissatisfied with the faculty, placements, and the others facilities.

Placements: The Gitam University is mainly known for the placements. But unfortunately, it is just a statement. I do agree that most of the students get placed. About, 600 students every year are placed in the TCS company. Deloitte and the other companies are just 10-5%. The companies provide offer letter lately, or sometimes they do not call you even after getting placed, and we will have to face filtration. More than half of the students get rejected after the filtration process. The placements are just ...

The college experience for the first year students.

Placements: The placements are based on the student's skills. You must have at least 7.0 GPA for better jobs. TCS takes most of the remaining students with GPA less than 7.0. Last batch has 100% placements. If you acquire more than 9.0 GPA, you can get placed in Microsoft, IBM and other MNCs. There are some companies that come from the other countries, but I have never heard their names. But most of the jobs are offered from TCS than any other companies. We the students of this university are a bit dissatisfied because of the placements.

Placements: While coming to the placements section, the placement director is a senior member. There will be a response from the placement cell, but no company is visiting our campus. The placement cell has conducted many exams like CoCubes, etc. so that we can go to the company directly. However, that isn't happening either.

Dissatisfied because of the placement department. It is not as good as expected.

Placements: We have been promised that everybody will be placed, but we got only two oppurtunities. One is Tech Mahindra, but still, no call letters were received from that company. The second company is CGI, only off-campus 3 people were placed. This is for 2013-2017 batch, and for our seniors, there were no placements, and only 2 persons were placed, that too in off-campus placements, and for our juniors, as of now, there are still no placements.

I am not at all satisfied with the placements and also with some faculty. Infrastructure is good.

Placements: There are no placements for the civil engineering students who have graduated from that college. All the branches like CSE, IT, EEE and ECE have the placements. Better not to choose civil from GITAM. But if you are passionate about civil, we have a good staff. Only 6 students from civil got placed in Tech Mahindra which is not at all related to the civil subject.

Placements: Our college is presently lacking with the placements. In the past, our seniors were placed for the sake of the name, but all were fake, no one has got the call letters. The students will only have to search for the internships, but for those internships, the students have to pay them to get the certificates and gain the knowledge. No one has got the internship, but the management is promising to bring good recruiters to our batch.

Placements: The placements are average. The main recruiters are TCS, Accenture and Wipro. The average salary offered was 3.25 LPA. The highest salary offered was 6.5 LPA. 20 students got placed in despite. There is almost 100 percent placement for 2016 batch. Most of the students got placed in TCS which is around 750 students in number. There is job guarantee in TCS if backlogs are cleared at the time of placements.

Placements: Frankly, this university is losing its fame, not drastically but yes it is. I heard my super seniors had got placed in good companies like Google, Amazon, etc. which do not show any interest in taking interviews now. However, companies like Microsoft, TCS and many others (about 12 companies) still show their interest to work with us. Students who got placed in Tech Mahindra didn't get call letters yet. Companies like Amazon offered 15 lacs but no one got selected in the process. GITAM - The place where jobs are assured(only for CSE n IT) but we can't gain knowledge.

Placements: GITAM University is one of a kind in the state of Andhra Pradesh with maximum placements, infrastructure and fee too. Talking about the placements, in our batch the placement percent is above 90%, and in our college, maximum CTC was provided by Microsoft (9L), followed by Deloitte, Concentrics, Maruti etc. TCS hired the maximum number of students, about 560, followed by Accenture with an intake of 275 students.

Placements: There are good placements for IT, CSE, and ECE branches in this college just like any other college. The placements for mechanical, EEE, and civil branch are worst. I can say less than 10% placements for this branches. So, it's not worthy to join this colege, if you are looking to join in these branches and planning to do the job after UG.
