Review of Rosary College of Commerce and Arts.
Placements: Interested students can attend interviews. Companies mostly prefer IT vocational and science background students.
Infrastructure: Our college provides the required infrastructure. Wi-Fi facility is available in classrooms. There are 4 BCA labs and interactive screens in BCA classrooms. It consists of good-quality computers and coding software.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very good. Time table is not well planned. Main course teachers are experienced but the optional subject teachers change every time. All 6 semesters include value education lecture, which is sometimes boring. There are 2 commerce subjects in the first four semesters and Maths in the first year.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in working in the software industry. Our college is strict as it doesn't allow students to go out during college hours. Less events are organised in our college. There are 80 students in BCA. Our college offers limited seats.

    Facilities are really good.
Placements: Almost 5-10 per cent not more than that and smart and hard-working students get hired by companies like Infosys and Wipro. The package is 2-3 Lacs according to the company you get hired from. Internship in Goa is really less due to less IT companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is somewhat average. Wi-Fi is available, In BCA, 2 labs are there with 15 computer each. The classroom has AC but it's not working. There are no hostel facilities. A small cafe is there and small gym is there but it's always closed. We have 3 grounds to play.
Faculty: We have teachers who are good in their field and try their best to teach us something which will work in future. They try to focus on practical more than theory. And about the exam it's easy, you will pass easily but scoring may be difficult.

Bachelors in Computer Applications in Rosarys.
Placements: Total number of students in our course for the 2024-25 batch is 90, which is the second year. Around 30% of students secured internships in companies such as Cipla, resorts like Taj, etc. Our course is 4 years with guaranteed placements, honors, and degrees.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are fabulous. Wi-Fi is always responsive and labs have the best computers with inverters and air-conditioners. This makes students very comfortable to study and understand the topic taught by teachers. Infrastructure is also best according to other colleges.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful as they clear our doubts and motivate students at our tough times. All teachers are qualified and have years of experience at their job making them much more professional and knowledgeable.
Other: I always wanted to learn computer applications so that I could do something creative or develop some software or an app on my own and do something for myself.

It has a good infrastructure, campus, and teachers.
Placements: The total strength of the class is around 60 students. Campus placements occur. The recruitment cell from our college informs us about the opportunities for TY students who are looking for a job. Very few students get an internship during the campus placement, or else we have to apply on our own.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good for BCA students. Proper working computers are kept in the laboratory. There are air-conditioners in the computer lab. Wi-Fi facility is also provided. The library is good with a smart attendance system placed at the entrance, which records the digital attendance of the students and teachers who visit.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good and supportive. Teaching quality is good for some teachers, but some teachers are not helpful. Teachers teach through the use of digital screens and projectors in the classroom. The course curriculum does not make students 100% industry-ready. We have to struggle and learn on our own and keep practicing. Passing is easy in semester exams.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am very much interested in web technology like web designing and creating a website of my own. Many tech fests and competitions are being held in the college like NOESIS by BCA students.

It is one of the best BCA colleges in Goa. Students can take admission in it.
Placements: Our college offers various training for the students so that they were ready for the placements and the interviews. The various IT companies and banking companies visit the campus every year for placements. It provides different internships too. The placements percentage was above 60% of the students who applies.
Infrastructure: This college provides one of the best infrastructures with a well-equipped computer laboratory, library with endless books, and the campus throughout is equipped with Wi-Fi and also CCTV for safety purposes. The canteen food is also top-notch.
Faculty: The best part of this college was faculty members. They were very helpful and were ever ready to help the students. The semester exams' difficulty level was moderate. Almost more than 70% of students clear the semester easily. The passing percentage was 40%, and it makes students industry-ready by providing different training and certification courses.
Other: Our college had an intercollegiate fest know as Anantara where colleges all across Goa participates in different events held, such as dance competition, fashion show, sports, technical, and financial competitions.

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) - Batch of 2015
Offered by Don Bosco College, Panjim
    3.8

It's located in Panjim and also has all the facilities from technological aids to playgrounds.
Placements: During my tenure in college, only 5 out of 100 students were placed. Placements were offered in Infosys, Bangalore. There were no college placements as such. Students searched their job on their own. Even though the placement is the issue here, the college forces you to apply for the companies in which you can get easily placed. However, the college conducts expert talks to help us to have exposure to the business world which makes us mentally prepared before stepping into the corporate world.
Infrastructure: As far as the infrastructure is concerned, Don Bosco is one of the colleges having the best infrastructure in Goa. Don Bosco has the computer labs to conduct the practical sessions. Even projectors are installed in every classroom. Apart from this, Don Bosco has one of the well-developed football ground in Goa. Along with an indoor stadium, a basketball court, snooker pool, table tennis, and many others are available here. There is a canteen that offers hygienic food.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are knowledgeable in their fields. Even they are available after college hours to help us with our queries. The college staff are friendly and interact well with the students. They conduct experts talks to give exposure to the real business world. The concepts that were taught during our academics are very useful, and one can apply them in their future.
Other: Don Bosco is well connected with Panjim market along with all transport facilities. The college is situated in a prime location, so the connectivity is the best here.
