GBPUAT insight of B.Sc. course.

Placements: Placement is not very good. We work very hard but there are not much opportunities in private field. But students from GBPUAT get selected for government post like AAO, AFO. Companies like mahendra, big basket, escort etc. and etc. Visit the campus every year.

It is an average college with a lot of valuable opportunities.

Placements: Almost 5-10 students get placed directly every year. Most of the students go for the masters, and a very less number of students take placements. Recruiting companies include private banks and firms such as ITC. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA.

Best from the past but needs remodelling.

Infrastructure: G. B. P. U. A & T have one the biggest library of India. It have wide and great campus with enough practical exposure with respect to labs and field work. Hostel rooms and facilities are good in some and bad in some same goes with the food. There is stadium facility for the ones who are into sports with equipments, kits and field for many sports like Basketball, Badminton, Cricket, Athletics. Students also go for inter university competition all around india.

A great experience in this prestigious university owing to the excellent and highly skilled faculty.

Placements: Every year 15 to 20 students are placed from a batch of around 180 students because many of them prepare for the MBA and the rest for M.Sc. The highest package offered last year was around 3.8 Lacs and the lowest 3 Lacs. There is no such thing as a top recruiter when it comes to our college because of the number and type of companies varies year to year. This year a student exchange programme is organised in which about 30 students are being sent abroad the University of Illinois in Chicago. Out...

College is satisfying for faculty, infrastructure and placements, but not good for connectivity.

Placements: Since it is Asia's largest agricultural university, placements are good. You will get a placement with a salary package of 6 LPA, or you can apply for the research field, and you will get paid under research fellowship. There is a batch of 40 students in B.Sc. agriculture, and they visit different agricultural companies all over India. The university provides this facility to all students.

Review of Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar.

Placements: Placements in our college are not satisfactory. Apart from technology college, they hardly provide placements to others. Students generally prepare for higher studies as on-campus placements are very few or scanty. Technology college does provide on-campus placements, which are good.

The college offers a good life and experience.

Placements: There are many placements for engineering students. Placements for B.Tech students are good with decent salary packages. There are few placements for B.Sc. courses. Very few companies visit the campus for placements. Hardly 5% of the batch gets placed right after graduation. It is not very satisfactory rather a deep cause of concern.

The college is like heaven, and you only realise it after completing graduation.

Placements: Placements in our college are good, but the salary packages are not according to the students' intelligence. There is a placement cell which provides all updates about placements and companies. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Internships during the final year are helpful for students in their future. The stipend offered is Rs. 18,000 for six months. Almost 80-90% of the students got placed.

Placements: Placements for the students of our batch and our senior batch were fine. The highest salary package offered was around 7 to 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. Companies like Dow Chemicals, Mahindra and TCS, etc., visited our campus for placements. They offered the roles of sales executive. A placement cell is also available in our college which handles all the work related to placements. They also provide live projects and internships.

Besides this, students can also go foreign for higher studies. France, Germany and Australia universities have collaboration with these companies. The average package offered was 3 to 4 LPA.

However, interested students try and get placed in various agri-business related domains. Many other get placed Agriculture Officer in various public sector banks.
