Do not go there until it is your last option.

Placements: They do not provide any kind of placement. The best recruiter is L & T with a maximum package of 6 Lacs, that too for pan India. Do not expect any level of support from the college administration. All they care about is attendance. They don't even consider medical leaves.

I'm satisfied with this college.

Placements: Around 40% of students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 16 LPA, the lowest salary package is 4 LPA, and the average salary package is 5 LPA. Mass recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, etc. Top role offered is software programmer. Students need to focus on their courses.

The college is good but I am not satisfied as there is a very low placement record.

Placements: The college offers about 40% placements which include all salary packages off-campus to on-campus. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA. Seniors don't encourage healthy participation. They are not helpful so they take juniors for granted. They take interaction which seems like ragging I think it is difficult for some people.

It is one of the best agriculture colleges.

Placements: The placements are good. Many companies visit the college every year. Almost 30-40% of students got placed through on-campus placements. Only a few students got internships. The lowest package offered was 6 LPA, the highest package was 10 LPA, and the average package was 7.5 LPA.

I am satisfied with the college, but you have to look out for yourself.

Placements: Only 2% of the students were placed. The packages offered range from 3-7 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys and Whirlpool. None of the students got an internship from college. The main role offered is a junior engineer.

Best from the past but needs remodelling.

Infrastructure: G. B. P. U. A & T have one the biggest library of India. It have wide and great campus with enough practical exposure with respect to labs and field work. Hostel rooms and facilities are good in some and bad in some same goes with the food. There is stadium facility for the ones who are into sports with equipments, kits and field for many sports like Basketball, Badminton, Cricket, Athletics. Students also go for inter university competition all around india.

Our college is good. Some teachers are very good, but some are not. Clinics need to be improved.

Placements: Placements were not very much prevalent in the previous years. However, in recent years, our college started conducting placements. Students who passed out from veterinary science from this college will have a scope for jobs because of the wide scope of the subject.

It had very good placements in 2018 and a good result in GATE and CAT. Infrastructure is descent.

Placements: The information given by me is related to the engineering college of our university. Apart from this, every college is good at this university. College is pretty decent, but if you are from the mechanical branch, then you will get everything. Decent placement records are achieved in all disciplinaries. Earlier only mechanical students were placed from our college, but in the past 2-3 years, it is changed. In the year 2019 in December, Google visited here and hired two students from biotech at a ...

Dissatisfied with the course content, but overall okay.

Placements: I am a final year student. I am pursuing computer engineering. As of now, about 50 percent of the branch has been placed, mostly in TCS ninja profile. There are 7 people who have been placed in GlobalLogic and 3 in UHG. The max salary is 7lpa and the lowest is 3.36lpa. Top roles are that of Assistant Systems Engineer.

Green land, red college, how I wasted my 4 years of undergraduation, and losen up almost everything.

Placements: The placements were as usual. The highest package was around 7.5 Lacs by Hero Honda and took a total of 5 students from mechanical, IPE, and agriculture engineering. In each of the branch, around 25 students were placed except Agriculture Engineering where around 40 students got placed. TCS took the highest number of students which was around 80 students. Escorts Tractor Co. offered a package of 6.5 Lacs and took 6 students from Electrical, Mechanical, and Agriculture Engineering.

GBPUAT is not an expensive university, but they really need to amp up the university.

Placements: Placements in our university were moderate with most of the offered roles being of consultancy. The average package offered is 3-4 LPA. The number of students getting placed from CS and IT departments was more than the other departments. The placement cell was average, not much interested in helping the students.

The best Agriculture college in India.

Placements: Students joining our college don't have placements in their mind. So there is no placement cell in the campus. However, interested students try and get placed in various agri-business related domains. Many other get placed Agriculture Officer in various public sector banks. Others either go for MBA or M.Sc. and continue with their studies. We get internships in the 3rd year, and it is mostly related to agriculture-related companies. The internships are completely optional. Mostly, the students a...

Once a Mighty, Now a Laggard.

Placements: The placements once used to be the star credentials of this college but now have reduced to a humiliating condition. I believe the whole placement image is based on an MNC doing mass recruitment in which 130 students are selected in one go. Rest of them mostly remain deprived of any company calls. At an aggregate level for a batch of 300 (approximately), only 15-20 companies visit the college. As a result, 50% of the batch is placed at max. Even the placed batch's average CTC is not a no. Not a good college for those who want to emerge out of the box with the help of the authority.

Placements: The scenario of placement in my time was not even average. Only 4 out of 40 students were placed. A general perception of the companies were that production branch has nothing to do with the core mechanical companies which is a myth. I would say placement wise it is not a good college.

Honest review of pantnagar.

Placements: Tcs is the mass recruiting company which visits the campus and hire student from every corner of college. Placement are not that great but nonetheless not so bad too as everyone gets placed in tcs. In our batch 153 /170 got placed in different organizations with minimum CTC of 3-4 LPA.

The college has good fame earlier, but it is not much reputed now.

Placements: The placements in our college were really good earlier, but nowadays, the college is struggling to place all the students, and the activities of placements lie solely on professors. Some good companies still visit the campus. Placements are on a sharp decline. Leaving a few companies, the remaining ones which visited the campus earlier, do not visit now as the professors don't care much about it.

Placements: The placements were not really great. TCS majorly recruits from CS IT and ECE. For our batch they considerably reduced the intake compared to previous years. For our batch tcs offered a new role paying 6 Lacs per annum for srlect students while general rola of 3.36 LPA was offered to most students. Other than tcs. John deere, honda, hero, escorts were among the few companies which came. Maruti, Tata MOTORS also came for senior batches. Adobe offering 20 LPA came to campus but didnt take anyone. ...

This is a place for your overall development.

Placements: Various companies such as Mahindra & Mahindra, John Dear, Escorts, and L&T visit the campus every year. Most of the campus placements are from agricultural engineering itself. The requirements for sitting in an interview are that you should have at least 6.5 GPA and there should not be any academic year gap during your degree programme.

I am 3/4th satisfied because I got great knowledge and facilities here. Only concern is placements.

Placements: There is a very bad situation of placements in our college. Only some students from computer engineering, agriculture engineering and information technology got the placements, but the packages they got are very low. There is either very low or no placement rate in the core branches.
