Worth the money. Good infrastructure. Gives good future possibilities.
Placements: Good placement. Almost all the students are placed somewhere, but the major proportion goes to Verka. Placement is also done by Nestle. Good salaries are proposed by both companies. There are also some small players which give employment to dairy students. Punjab Dairy Development Board is also providing jobs to this stream's students. Some students want to go outside the country and it's of a good value in foreign countries.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The labs are well established according to the disciplines. Practical work is preferred and facilities are provided to improve the students' skills. It is a new college set up in 2008.
Faculty: The coursework is relevant to the discipline. Milk-related courses are there. Engineering, chemistry, microbiology, and economics are major titles to be followed in the 4 year course of B.Tech. In M.Tech, 1.5 years of coursework are there. The research work done here is of a good standard and meets the standards of higher education institutes outside India.

Yes, selection of candidates to all the UG courses is based on the CET GADVASU score, conducted by the University. Admission to GADVASU PG programme is based on the performance of a candidate in AIEEA-PG, conducted by ICAR, New Delhi.
