Himachal Pradesh University MTech Admission 2022
Himachal Pradesh University offers a two-year MTech course. For admission to MTech programme, candidates who have qualified GATE will be given 20% extra of the aggregate obtained in the entrance test for calculating the merit for the purpose of admission. The minimum pass aggregate in the entrance test is 35%. The MTech Entrance Test will comprise 200 MCQ questions of one mark each.
Final admission is offered to eligible candidates with a valid score in the relevant entrance exam. To know the eligibility criteria for MTech, refer to the table below:

Yes, definitely, you can get admission at HPU with 70 rank till the last-round of counselling. It is a decent rank if you aiming for HPU for the PG courses like MD, MS, MDS etc. As per the HPU cutoff 2024, the last round for MMU Solan - Maharishi Markandeshwar University for MD in Community Medicine
